Hi there! I am making a portfolio website for my client. Per her request, I made a main gallery- each image has its own description on hover. I was able to achieve that position with the code on this page: https://www.adlyticmarketing.com/blog/show-gallery-titles-as-an-overlay-on-hover-in-squarespace Works great! however, when this is applied, and i click an image, the caption of each shadowbox (for each shadow box I had to create an unlinked page and use a lightbox plugin to achieve the carousel lightbox) is now overlaid on the image. I would like the image caption to appear UNDER the images. Please help! Site URL is selenasanders.squarespace.com, password is "password"

Hi again! So i am noticing that when i plugged that code in, the caption is GREAT but now the image that you have to click on to get there is effected. I guess what im saying is when i plug in your code that worked for me, the code to get my image descriptions to appear on hover are broken. I need the lightbox captions to be lower. Hi! I have an unlinked simple gallery slideshow (I used a lightbox plugin so when you click an image on the homescreen, it opens the corresponding simple gallery as a lightbox). My client would like there to be an option on ONE image on the home page, that when you click it and the slideshow appears, there is an option to click to enlarge. Is this possible with custom code? Thanks!

that worked! youre a life saver. One more question- is there any way to get rid of the white box that surrounds it? so nothing is covering the image?

Hi there! I have a simple slideshow gallery I am making for a clients portfolio website- she wants the captions to appear below each image, but currently they sit directly over the image (see screenshot attached). I guess I need a custom css to fix this? thank you!!!
