  1. May I ask a follow up question? I include Amazon code blocks on some of my pages. For example, see https://www.jazzikology.com/albums-song-for-my-father . Those "buy now on Amazon" blocks do not open in a new browser tab. I tried typing in target="_blank" in the code block , but it did not work. Do you know how to effect opening them in a new browser tab?
  2. On this page - https://www.jazzikology.com/jazzikology-resources-music-tutorials - I have two affiliate merchant banners encoded by code provided to me by the respective merchants (Jazz Edge and Reverb). When you click on either banner, their site replaces my site. Is there code I can add to the blocks that will force the affiliate merchant page to open in its own tabe/browser?
  3. OK - I think i found an answer. For a SquareSpace business account, there is an Amazon block feature which an Amazon affiliate parter can use to search for an Amazon product, and the picture of the product is displayed, which contains the affiliate link. It is explained here: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/205814038-Amazon-blocks
  4. I am a new Amazon affiliate partner. When I signed up with Amazon my understanding was that affiliate text links and image links would be available to me to use. But I just learned that as of January 1, 2024, only text links are available. There apparently is a workaround for WordPress sites using Lasso, which allows one to use Amazon image links, but my understanding is that Lasso does not work on Square Space. Does anyone know if there is a workaround for SquareSpace sites, whereby image affiliate links can be utilized?
