  1. Hi all, I need some advice. I want to change my website's domain name, but I don't want to lose all the backlinks from the old domain. Essentially, I'm taking my business from thesuitest.co to thesuitest.com. I have tons of pages and subpages because my website is a digital magazine, so creating individual redirects seems like tedious work that's going to take a lot of time. I'm also not even sure if I can redirect the .co links to .com in Squarespace once I change the domain there. Would I have to do that on my server? So what I am wondering is: is there any solution to redirect all of the old links to the new one? (I will obviously keep the .co domain so that this redirect will be possible) And how do I go about doing this? I just don't really know where to start with this project. Any help or resources or advice is appreciated!
  2. Hi I've seen people with similar problems but didn't find a solution that quite fixed it for me. I want to use a custom font that I already have uploaded and used in other parts of the side and now use it for the Blog Metadata title. I've found this code in a few places online, but it's not working for me. Any insights would be great! .blog-item-meta-wrapper * { font-family: 'PALMER LAKE CAPS' !important; }
  3. Hi can anyone help me out with this? I only want to change my p3 to a handwriting font so I can stylize some things across the site. I did this, but it's not working. Any ideas? p.sqsrte-small { font-family: 'Adobe Handwriting Ernie' !important; }
  4. Ah so simple in the end! Playing with the top px worked. Thank you!!
  5. Hi everyone! So, I have this custom font that comes in Regular and Italic. I want to be able to write stylized paragraphs on the website that look like the attached photo — seamlessly switching between both Regular and Italic. Yes, Squarespace will italicize it for me, but the way the website does it isn't nearly as good-looking as the italic font that I purchased. Is there a way to code my website so that when I'm in the style bar, I can click the 'I' button and it places the corresponding Italic text in there automatically? Thanks for any advice or tips in advance!!
  6. The split navigation code is from the folks at The Styled Squared and I've pasted it here below! I have the logo set to the center in the 'Header Layout' section. Thanks in advance for any advice! // SPLIT NAVIGATION .header-nav { position: absolute; top: 0px; bottom: 0; margin-top: 0!important; margin-left: 0px!important; } .header-nav-item:nth-of-type(3) { margin-right: 340px!important; } .header-title-logo a { z-index: 1000; position: relative; }
  7. Hi there! I tried to look for an answer to this but couldn't find it. Might be searching the wrong things. But, my problem is that I can't seem to get my navigation links to align with the uploaded logo. Even when I choose a logo that's all one line, for example. And adjusting the padding just brings it all down together. So my question is: how do I get the navigation links to align with the center of my logo? I've currently used custom coding to get the navigation links to move to either side of the logo. But as you can see, they sit really high up there. Any help is appreciated! Site isn't live yet so I've attached a screenshot.
  8. So I'm using the fluid editor in 7.1 and I have a gallery (Slideshow: Reel) set up. I want to add text on top of it that indicates what the slideshow is. Can someone help me out? I've tried other codes on here/elsewhere and nothing's working. Really surprised something so basic isn't included here.
