    blonde40744 reacted to Heids in Is there any way to make a background color stretch out to full width of browser?
    I am trying to achieve a full width background color behind a code block on my website.
    The code block has two divs - one for the background color, and one for the content.The CSS I am using at the moment is as follows:
    #Bio { background-color: #e5e5e5; margin-left: -600px; margin-right: -600px; } #BioWrapper { margin: 0 auto; padding: 40px 600px; }
    So basically I am playing around with margins and padding to get the effect, but it then creates extra space to the right, causing unwanted scrolling.
    This is the page I am working on: http://blussh.com.au/about/The grey area with the heading 'heids' is where I am trying to achieve this full width background color.
    I am hoping there is an easy fix to my CSS - can anyone help?Thank you!

    I'm trying to add 2 rounded rectangle buttons to my navigation bar in the Five template. Is there a CSS code that will let me do this? Below is the test site. I'm trying to add the buttons around "Buy Tickets" and "Donate Now."

    blonde40744 reacted to sjaiyer in Image Block: How do I add Custom CSS to change image-caption text attributes?
    I am using the Five template for my website, primarily because I wanted 3 columns in my blog. However, the text attributes for image captions are hard coded (weirdly enough) to be all uppercase and the text color is a dark gray.
    Problem is the background on my canvas is dark gray, so the image caption doesn't read very well, AND I don't like all uppercase.
    Now, I know how to go in and add custom css code, but I don't know what code I need to put in in order to change the image caption text color and have it be capitalized (rather than all uppercase).
    Thanks for any help!

    I am looking to change the banner size on the Bedford template. my site is http://spearhead.to
    I have tried:

    .desc-wrapper { height: 300px !important }
    This code brings the bottom of the banner up, however, the header content does not align to the centre of the banner.

    blonde40744 reacted to ccbjan in Bedford: Changing the banner height?
    I’ve been trying to change the banner/header height in the Bedford template by inserting this in the CSS editor but it’s not yielding any results.

    #collection-xxxxx #banner-thumbnail-wrapper { height: 50px; }
    Does anyone have any suggestions on what else can be done? I would also like to be able to edit the height of the banner when it’s a slideshow.
    Thanks!
