  1. I have a custom font for all headings but it is not showing up on mobile. When I'm on the desktop editing my mobile site it is there but when I go on the Squarespace app or view the website online on a mobile it is subbing in another font (second screenshot). This is the code I used to put my custom font in. Should I change it somehow? @font-face { font-family: 'Common'; src: url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/64aa41417398e76d5c249b09/t/64aa9028aa15cd74895a821b/1688899624415/Common.otf'); } h1, h2, h3, h4 {font-family: 'Common';}
  2. @Ziggy This is still not changing the font size in mobile. I am trying to get it so that 'emma can be found' is on one line like in the desktop version. Any idea why the code is not making any change?
  3. @Ziggy this isn't making any changes for me? I am guessing I am meant to sub in the id of the block of text, which I found via inspect. But it did not change the text size: @media only screen and (max-width:767px) and (orientation: portrait) { section[data-section-id="yui_3_17_2_1_1693963076920_488"] { h1 { font-size:10vw; } } }
  4. Hi @Ziggy, Could you help me with one more thing? I'd like to reduce the size of the text on the home page on the mobile view only. Both the black text and the white text. Thanks!
  5. I want it to look like it is being typed. As you can see the animation is not like that. https://vimeo.com/860776131
  6. Tried another set of code from https://www.thesquaregenius.com/squarespace-tips/creating-a-typewriter-text-effect-for-squarespace-websites. (option 2) But still having issues as you can see on editing page of emmahearnes.com Does anyone have solutions? @tuanphan @Lesum @Ziggy .typeit { overflow: hidden; font-size: 60px; /* change to any font size you want */ border-right: 2px solid #ffffff; /* change in the keyframe too below */ margin: 0 auto; animation: typeit 3.5s steps(40, end), right-border .5s step-end infinite; } @keyframes typeit { from { width: 0 } to { width: 100% } } @keyframes right-border { from, to { border-color: transparent } 50% { border-color: #ffffff; /* change in the css above too */ } }
  7. No problem with font. I just need code to create the typing animation and was adding my font use as additional information
  8. This isn't achieving the typing animation when I put it in the Custom CSS. Is there a particular way I should be doing it?
  9. @Ziggy Here are a few problems I need to solve then. Compare all screenshots to my desktop site (emmahearnes.com) 1. Type in the footer is too large but when I change it it changes the desktop version too 2. (art page) I want the slideshow reel to show 3 pictures like on the desktop site, not one that is the full width 3. I want to make certain text centre justified on mobile but keep it as is on desktop. Thanks!
  10. I need to disable mobile styles so my website is exactly the same as the desktop when viewed on other devices. emmahearnes.com Thanks!
  11. @LesumThe text I want to use the typing animation on is 'So your words need polishing...' (editing page) 'When properly fuelled by crispy m&ms, Emma can string a few words together.' (writing page) And 'When she's not holding a pen, Emma can be found wielding a paintbrush.' (art page) If you look at my website now (emmahearnes.com) you can see on the editing page the current issues with the CSS. I want to make use of my custom font I have added to CSS (code below) in h1 size. @font-face { font-family: 'Common'; src: url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/64aa41417398e76d5c249b09/t/64aa9028aa15cd74895a821b/1688899624415/Common.otf'); } h1, h2, h3, h4 {font-family: 'Common';} Can't thank you enough!
  12. Thank you so much. Unfortunately, I don't have a Squarespace business account so it won't allow me to do code injection. Is there a solution just using CSS? Definitely will buy you a coffee. Been trying to figure this out for ages!

  14. emmahearnes.com Because I have shapes and text laid out in specific ways that I like on desktop it's very hard to recreate this on mobile without it altering the desktop site. Thanks!
