Sorry if I didn't express myself clearly; what I would like is to hide the light overlay fx and apply a scale up fx on hover in the feature images in the "work" section of my site

I already hid the overlay text with the code above but I still get the light overlay. is there a way to change that fx to a slight scale up on hover?
