    Site URL: https://www.joequint.com/
I wanted to have titles for three different navigation sections of my site and the only way I could come up with to cheat it was to create folders - that don't drop down - with the words (ASSIGNMENTS, PROJECT, MOTION). Further, I wouldn't want the pages to be nested in folders anyway.
This is having detrimental impact in search... they end up being seen as 'pages' without text. And, if you were to type 'https://www.joequint.com/motion', you get a message saying 'This folder does not contain any pages'.
Is there a better solution other than using these folders as headings?

Not really, content does that more than anything else. Its easy to remove code but also easy to remove what you want to keep. What I do is copy snippets to wordpad, label where it came from, note what I thought it did for me if anything,  then I remove it if I think I don't want it.  If a change happens I don't want I paste it right back in. One has to be careful to copy it correctly and not miss anypart of it. That has happened to me. For example, I added code to make snow fall on my site for the Christmas Holidays, It worked for most pages but broke one page and I had to use a different code. It was a lot of code for that page.  I goofed up  when I removed it from the site. I deleted the last line of code for another effect. Took me awhile to repair that mistake.

I have no idea on the technical side. I will say that I was puzzled about how to find your galleries (full disclosure: I'm new to this game) until I floated the cursor over an image and tried clicking. My personal preference is to give more freedom to viewers to explore rather than guiding them on a linear tour through each gallery, in which case you could have a text block above the gallery; but if you're going to have visitors click through as you do, maybe a sort of generic-but-apropos first picture with text over it might be a possibility?
