Issue with white line appearing between carousel posts on website

Hello!
I am having issues with the carousel block on my website, which is made in Squarespace 7.1. The carousel block features images side by side with stories, which I've uploaded and added to the gallery as images. I wish these to appear flush, side by side, with no intersecting line.
