  1. Thx, it helps a lot ๐Ÿ˜‰ Quick question, in my current configuration, is there any way to have the same final effect but using videos instead of GIF?
  2. Ha nice, it seems to work ! So I guess I apply the same to all images then?
  3. Hey guys, and thx in advance for the help ! I have a portfolio website with the main page being just a gallery of images. Once you hover on the different images I have a little code that will replace the image by an animated GIF. The problem is that even with a very fast connection all the different images are loaded and displayed on the website opening but it seems the GIFs are not pre-loaded on the opening of the page and are trying to load ONLY when the mouse is hovering them, leading to a black frame for an instant which is not very fluid. Even if you let the page charge for 5mins when you will hover the images you'll see only then it start to load the GIF. I would love to have a possibility to pre-load the different GIF images so that when the user is hovering them they are displayed without any latency. My website is here : https://camillemarotte.com/ Thx a lot !
  4. Ho wow, yes it worked ! Thank you so much it was bothering me for weeks ! Just for me knowledge then, the fact that that we had the "inline-block" means that the underline would not count the actual text block height? And what does adding "!important" changes? I did a bit of C++ back in the days, but this code looks very funny to me ๐Ÿ™‚ Thx again !
  5. Hey Melody, And thx a lot for your reply. I'm not sure I understand your idea correctly, did you simply used this code in the Custom CSS? I tried but nothing happened, I removed my added code and it's back to "broken". What is strange is that it was all working perfectly great before and you can see in the top menu the underline is much closer to the text for example. I can see on your screenshot the "box" overlapping yes, but is there a way to make this "box" smaller in height without changing my font then? Thx for your patience helping me ๐Ÿ™‚ The customer care only replied this, which didn't help ๐Ÿ˜• Zoe K. (Squarespace) Dec 17, 2023, 4:26โ€ฏPM EST Hi Camille, Greetings from Portland, OR. My name is Zoe and I'm happy to help you today. We truly appreciate your patience as we're currently working through a record number of requests. Thanks for contacting us about this. Weโ€™ve noted your report with our Engineering and Design teams for review. Theyโ€™ll use this feedback when creating fixes and improvements for future releases. There are many variables that we need to test against before we can make changes, and we canโ€™t guarantee changes for this issue in the immediate future. That said, our teams consider all feedback, and your input is always encouraged. For now, we recommend using a different site-wide animation other than Flex so this behavior doesn't occur. To be clear, this is a temporary workaround, rather than a permanent fix for the issue. Thanks again for reporting this, and if you see any other unusual behavior, please let us know. Warm Regards, Zoe K.
  6. Well my issue is still not resolved, and it's quite a problem because it's affecting my "Contact" page pretty deeply : https://camillemarotte.com/contact I'm still not sure if it's really a Squarespace animation wide issue or if it's any kind of conflicts in my design. Any pointers would be very much appreciated. The only temporary workaround for me now is to use this code to remove underline links throughout entire website (not ideal) : .sqs-block-html a { background-image: none !important; background-repeat: no-repeat !important; text-decoration: no-repeat !important; }
  7. Ok I understand, I thought maybe it was a bit of my code or design that had an issue. I already contacted the Customer Support, let's see what they say ๐Ÿ˜‰
  8. Hey Melody, Ho I thought that was the way Squarespace support was working. So about my underlining problem, you don't have a least some pointers for me? Cheers,
  9. Thx Melody, I actually posted my problem on this other topic : My website is here, the contact page is the one containing links where the underline started to behave strangely : https://camillemarotte.com/contact
  10. In Site Style > Animations It's not a workaround, I haven't find the solution to the problem yet, just trying to give some clues to the Squarespace experts here to try to narrow down the possible solutions. For me it was working perfectly for months and it started behaving strangely recently...
  11. I have the same problem with underline for some time now, it was all working fine before but something change recently it seems. I found out that it's only doing this with the Flex animation enabled on my website, the underline is back to normal with other animation settings. Same for you?
  12. If I replace the whole animation on the page to anything else than Flex the underlining is back to normal. If I switch back to Flex the underlining goes crazy again. For the navigation menu the underline works fine.
  13. I'm experiencing the exact same problem. I didn't change anything on my website's code but for a week or so now the underline links became broken in some places. In the top menu it's still ok, but in the About Page the underline is way off position : https://camillemarotte.com/contact
  14. Hey there, I want to do about the same thing : having a different GIF to play when hovering each image of the gallery. My website : https://camillemarotte.com/ About the same reference : https://www.steptstudios.com/ Cheers,
