If you cut the foto out and put it on a transparent layer in photoshop then save it as a .png file it should appear as if its on whatever color your web page background is?

I created a revolving video of a glass of beer. I cut-out the background and built a col background using the exact same RGB values of the col of the page that this video sits on. The video was created with an sRGB col space, mp4 and H264 codec. once uploaded and live the col works seamlessly on I-phone viewing but not on my desktop? On my desktop it works in Chrome but not in safari. I have the latest of both. But on my laptop it doesn't work on any browser? Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? I've tried darkening by eye the video to match and that worked for the desktop but then it's to dark for the mobile!! let me know if anyone has any ideas? thanks John
