What is the best way to integrate my in-store Square POS with Squarespace store inventories? Let's say a customer purchases a product from my Square in-store POS. When the customer completes the purchase, the inventory level for that product in my Squarespace store needs to be automatically updated to reflect the sale and vice-versa. I need managed inventory across both Squarespace and Square POS, to ensure that my customers always have access to accurate stock information. I'm currently looking at Trunk to do this integration. Does anyone have experience with this or know of something better?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to completely prevent someone from sharing a YouTube video that is embedded on your Squarespace website. When you embed a YouTube video on your website, the video is still hosted on YouTube's servers, and YouTube provides the ability for viewers to share the video through social media or by copying the video's URL. However, there are some measures you can take to make it more difficult for someone to share the video outside of your website. One option is to disable the "Share" button on the video player, which can be done within the YouTube video settings. Another option is to set the video to "Unlisted" on YouTube, which means that it will not appear in search results or on your YouTube channel, but can still be accessed through the direct link. Additionally, you can add a message or disclaimer on your website asking viewers not to share the video outside of the page, or consider password protecting the page where the video is embedded. These measures may not completely prevent sharing, but can help to discourage it.

I'm not sure I understand your question. Could you elaborate or provide screenshots?

If the "Embed" option is not showing up when you click on the "Share" button below a YouTube video, it's possible that the video owner has disabled embedding for that particular video. In this case, you won't be able to embed the video on your website or elsewhere. However, you can try the following steps to see if the embed option is available: Make sure you are logged in to your YouTube account. Check to see if the video has been set to "Private". Private videos cannot be embedded. Try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache and cookies. Try viewing the video on a different browser or device. If the video is part of a playlist, try clicking on the "Share" button on the playlist page instead of the individual video page.

To embed a YouTube video in Squarespace, follow these steps: Go to your YouTube video and click on the "Share" button below the video player. Click on the "Embed" option, and you will see the embed code for the video. Copy the embed code. Go to your Squarespace website and navigate to the page where you want to embed the video. Add a new content block by clicking on the "+" icon in the top left corner of the page. Select the "Embed" option from the content block options. Paste the YouTube video embed code into the content block. Save the changes to the page. Your YouTube video should now be embedded on your Squarespace website. If the embed code isn't showing up, make sure the video is shared to the public.

It appears that the problem was that Squarespace didn't detect a full disconnect from the previous Squarespace site because the nameservers on GoDaddy were still pointing at Squarespace. The resolution involved reverting the nameservers back to the GoDaddy default, and then switching them back to the Squarespace nameservers.

First off, Ziggy, thanks so much for helping me out! I see you help alot of people and that's pretty awesome! I shot this quick video showing the connection process. Am I missing anything here? Both Squarespace and Godaddy don't allow any edits to DNS settings during this process. For GoDaddy, it's because the nameservers point to Squarespace... For Squarespace, its because the connection hasn't finished propagating (so they say). It's been nearly 30 hours now since I followed these steps. I would've thought that default TTL in squarespace was much lower like max 12-24 hrs. Any thoughts or ideas? My Movie - HD 1080p.mov

I'm transferring the domain www.rivermontrefillery.com. To this site: https://rivermontrefillery.squarespace.com The domain is registered with GoDaddy and the name servers are pointing to Squarespace and have been all along since the site I'm replacing was also a Squarespace site. See screenshots. Yes, I first disconnect the domain from the old website. And then followed the reconnection process for Godaddy which is very simple since the name servers were already pointing at Squarespace.

Is it possible to EDIT the TTL settings in SQUARESPACE DNS? I'm trying to transfer a domain from SquarespaceSITE-ONE to SquarespaceSITE-TWO. The domain is a GoDaddy domain with nameservers pointing at Squarespace. It's been over 24 hours since I disconnected the custom domain from SquarespaceSITE-ONE and reconnected it to SquarespaceSITE-TWO and not a single major server has adopted the new DNS records. I want to know for next time if there is a way to set the TTL to just a few minutes ahead of the transfer.

A #UNIQUESQUARESPACEID h1::after { content: "smaller type message here"; font-size: small; margin-top: -10px; /* other alignment rules likely needed */ } Without seeing your site we would need to make several assumptions here, but something like this should work.
