  1. Hello again - ignore me! I've just discovered how to make it happen without any plugin (doh!)

  2. Hi, I understand that you have a special code which allows viewers to click on an image and see it enlarged. Are you happy to share this with me, please? Many thanks, Sarah-Jane

  3. Hi, I have used Cargo, Wordpress and Smugmug – but my main portfolio site is with Squarespace. I have given other photographer/ artists help with small tasks, as well as feedback and advice. But I was recently asked to do another photographer's whole new site for him. I've not used this new 7.1 version before, and found it a bit frustrating to be honest (I won't be updating my own on 7 for a while!) I wondered where the best place to ask for feedback is? I have a few niggly things that need sorting out and would appreciate some guidance from more experienced people. I'd like to give the menu drop down on the phone only a coloured background as the page content interferes with the menu items when open. My client wanted a special mouse icon which I included but have taken it off for now, as it was really unreliable and hard to click on some links. But I suspect he'll prefer to have one, if possible. I found the code for it online but wondered if there was a more reliable code anyone knows of. I also think the main body font is a tad too large. And I would also appreciate some general comments. If it's OK to share the site here - please, https://www.arunmisraphotography.com/ is the site and for the moment it has a password Elephant.
  4. Thanks - this is my website on 7 www.sarahjanefield.com. Using 7.1 for a client, I have discovered there is no option to move the menu over to the side bar it is on my site, nor a secondary menu option. The menu is only available across the top bar and when it drops down there are there horrible lines under the current page (unlike 7 or Wordpress where the font changes colour if a menu item is being used, which is much better) plus it interrupts the image unless being used on a large screen. See screenshot. A side bar menu would alleviate the ugliness of the lines and solve the block over the image on smaller screens, so I am surprised it is not an option on 7.1. I have to say, having used 7.1 for a client, I am very happy to stay on 7 myself for the moment! I have tried using some code I found in CSS to remove the lines but it screws up the phone menu. I do not write code but am capable of adding it and making minor adjustments in CSS.
  5. Hi, My own site is on 7 but I'm pulling together sites for a couple of other people so getting used to 7.1. It looks like you cannot have a side menu without a plugin, according to an old 2021 notice on this forum. Is this still the case, and if so, what is the best plugin? Can I access these on my account without paying more? Thanks in advance. SJ
