Removing header shrink when using the Scroll Back animation

I want the header to retract when I scroll down as per the Scroll Back animation so I can't used Fixed position. What I would like to remove is the 'shrinking' animation that occurs on the header, since it crops my header background image. This happens when the header is out but you are not at the top of the page. I've attached some screenshots for reference. I would like it to always be like in the first image. Thanks again!
