Create a slideshow gallery at the top of the homepage

How do I turn the banner image at the top of the homepage into a slideshow gallery, whilst keeping the dimensions as is. Inserting a slideshow gallery block didn’t seem to work. I’ve included screenshots of the top of the homepage as well as a slideshow gallery block that appears further down the page.

@tuanphanit looks great on mobile and most desktop browser screen sizes. Is there a way to avoid the gaps on tablet and some screen and zoom sizes?
