  1. Hi everyone, I am currently working on my graphic design portfolio (https://www.ellajenkinsdesigns.com/) and was wondering if someone could help me use anchor links. I have some experience using anchor links, but cannot figure out how to do it with my site because it uses a portfolio template. Specifically, I would like the "Design" tab in the navigation to link below the animation of my initials on my landing page. I would ideally like it to be right above the "Hey there!" text underneath the landing page animation. However, I would like to keep the navigation of my logo in the top left that leads to the top of the landing page with the animation. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  2. Figured it out, I had to find the page ID then enter this code:
  3. Hello all, I am adding some new projects to my graphic design portfolio, ellajenkinsdesigns.com, and would like to archive some of my older projects without deleting them. After doing some digging around the internet, I found some CSS that hides selected projects from the portfolio pages' gallery view (https://www.ellajenkinsdesigns.com/design) This code works great for hiding specific projects from the overall grid. However, when I go to the bottom of my last visible project's page (https://www.ellajenkinsdesigns.com/design/pozzy), the next project (hidden) shows up at bottom-of-page navigation. Is there a way to hide this? Here is an image showing the issue: https://imgur.com/a/Mro62Bu I do wish there was an easier way to archive portfolio projects...Nevertheless, any additional advice or support would be greatly appreciated.
  4. @tuanphan you ROCK!!! thank you so so much ๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŽŠ
  5. @tuanphan That code seemed to have changed the text formatting from being two lines long to one line long
  6. @tuanphan In addition to making the images in the carousel clickable, is there a way to slow down the sliding animation for the auto-play? I understand that I can adjust the time in between transitions, but I'm wondering if there's any sort of way to adjust the speed of the transition itself.
  7. @tuanphan That seemed to have helped make the font sizes the same, which is good. However, is there a way to left-align the simple slideshows' caption text so it looks like the simple grid's caption text? I'm also noticing an awkward gap between the bottom of the simple slideshows' images and the captionsโ€”could there be a way to fix that as well? I like the spacing between the caption and images for the simple grids, so if there was a way to have the spacing look similar to that I would really appreciate it. Thanks for all of the assistance with my site so far ๐Ÿ™‚
  8. @tuanphan Got it, thank you. I just added the buttons for each item and updated my homepage with them: https://www.ellajenkinsdesigns.com/
  9. Hi, I am currently working on my graphic design portfolio site: https://www.ellajenkinsdesigns.com/. I currently have my navigation bar fixed with the "scroll back" feature enabled, but was wondering if there was a way to have it "basic" fixed for only my homepage. Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚
  10. Hi all, I am currently redesigning my graphic design portfolio website and have come across a bit of an issue with caption inconsistencies. The page https://www.ellajenkinsdesigns.com/design/slow-rush illustrates my problem the best. On the project page, I am using two types of galleries to display images of my work: "Slideshow: Simple" and "Grid: Simple." When I added the simple grid, I thought that the caption text was too small, so I inserted this CSS code to adjust it: Although the simple grid images' captions now look the way I wanted, I am noticing inconsistencies with the simple slideshow caption. Is there any CSS code that could make the simple slideshow captions look exactly like the simple grid captions (ie. increasing text size, left-aligning text, and adjusting the distance between the images and the captions)? Any tips or advice would really help me out and be greatly appreciated!
  11. @tuanphan Thank you so much for the injection code! It looks great. I just noticed you mentioned something about enabling buttons for each item: Any tips on how to do this or the code to hide the buttons once created? Thanks again for all the help.
  12. Thank you for the troubleshooting tips @paul2009! I was able to fix the CSS and now it looks great on different platforms ๐Ÿ™‚
  13. Hi everyone! I am currently developing my graphic design portfolio, and have run into a bit of issue with custom fonts. Although the custom font that I'm using (Brandon Grotesque) looks good on desktop, for some reason, it's not showing up on mobile (specifically iOS). Instead of displaying Brandon Grotesque, it displays a serif font. Any tips or suggestions about how I could fix this? Site: https://www.ellajenkinsdesigns.com/ *Edit: It seems like the font is also not showing up on Safari on my computer. Still looks fine on Chrome though ๐Ÿ˜•
  14. Hi everyone, I am currently working on creating an engaging landing page for my graphic design portfolio website. Toward the bottom of the landing page (https://www.ellajenkinsdesigns.com/), I have an image carousel that features some of my works. Although it looks fine now, I was wondering if there was a way to make the carousel auto-scroll or auto-play, so the projects rotate by themselves when users are on the page. Also, is there a way to have each carousel image link to a specific page? I would like to have the projects featured on the carousel link to their respective project page when clicked. Thanks!
