So I'm trying to understand squarespace's navigation system. I want to make a dropwdown with a "main" page and 2 to 3 "sub-pages" under it.
I make furniture and I sell 3 table styles. I'd like to have a main "Tables" page in the menu, with the other pages nested under it.
It seems like SS really wants to deter this. Why? Am I missing something? I have a basic plan so I can't add code. And I hate the idea of using code or plugins for something so basic. I feel like I have to be missing something
I tried using the "folders" but the unclickable menu item seems like terrible UX. Why not just allow us to use the slug to redirect?
I'd really appreciate any insight.
