Okay, I'm going to change this up a little since I don't think what I wanted is possible. Not for sure this is either. I have been poking around the internet all day and not coming up with much. Here is what I would like to do .. If anyone knows custom code for this kind of thing I would be so grateful! My site is: https://jkdtesting.squarespace.com/ password: testing Move prev/next and “show thumbnails” over the photo (like www.patmartin.co) Move “image description” to below the image. Can Mobile version be the same? To be a slideshow but still have the option to “show thumbnails” Also like www.patmartin.co on mobile? This is Wells template. Thank you so much for your help! -
I would love for it to be more like this: https://www.jamiekelterdavis.com , but with the option to flip back into thumbnails. So, I figure if there is a custom CSS to change it to that, that would be great. But maybe it's impossible. I don't know.

Right, I would like to do that, but still keep it as a gallery page (not a block) so that the option of the viewer to switch back to thumbnails is still there.

Thanks - this page: https://jkdtesting.squarespace.com/wanderings2 I am using "gallery pages" so that I can switch between thumbnails and slideshow easily. Something you can't do with gallery blocks. But, I wish there was a way with gallery pages to make them more like a carousel effect. Kind of like I have on my old page: https://www.jamiekelterdavis.com - But with the option to switch over to thumbnails still.

Hello - My site is: https://jkdtesting.squarespace.com My overview page (home) is a slideshow default The rest of my gallery pages open as slideshows This is basically how I would like it, but there is one gallery page I would love to open as slideshow initially - the "Wanderings" page. I'd like to keep my pages to the actual gallery pages and not a gallery block, as I like the options for visitors to switch back and forth. Does anyone know a Custom CSS code that can override the default "thumbnail" for just one page? Thank you so so much!

Hello! Hopefully I can connect with someone on here, similar kind of questions .... I'm using Wells as well. My home page is a slideshow and the other gallery pages open as thumbnails (which is what I want) - But there is one gallery page I'd like to be a slideshow. Is there custom code to do that? The options right now are either all slideshow or all thumbnail. This is my site - https://jkdtesting.squarespace.com I'd like for "Wanderings" to open as a slideshow (like the homepage) Thanks! This is really helpful - Is there a way to make the background go lighter instead of darkened? I tried replacing it with "lighten" but doesn't work. Thank you!!

Oh, I'm so close to getting this. Thank you. But, I'm still not sure where you paste in the custom info - I'm not understanding this: You should move the cursor to the top of the panel and click to the image, it will display the url of the image then replace it with the string inside ()

Hello, I am designing a pretty simple photo portfolio site. I am pretty deep in, and just realizing now on Wells that I can't seem to insert my Instagram logo. Also, no footer. My main page is a gallery page as well. Can anyone direct me to custom coding for this? I've been scouring the internet and surprised to have so much trouble. Thank you so much!!
