Products aren't being added to cart when custom product form is used?

I need my customers to give more details for their product so I have the custom product form enabled. The issue is, nothing happens whenever they fill out the form. They click 'add to cart', the form pops up, then the only thing you can do is X out of the form which cancels all of it and doesn't add anything to the cart. Suggestions?
