I found a solution. h/t to https://stackoverflow.com/questions/3736807/how-do-i-remove-the-blue-styling-of-telephone-numbers-on-iphone-ios It's because safari's click-to-dial changes the color of the phone number. put this in your CSS: a[href^="tel"] { color: inherit; /* Inherit text color of parent element. */ text-decoration: none; /* Remove underline. */ /* Additional css `propery: value;` pairs here */ }
