Kerstin, in your Express course you share the importance of the Cookie Banner and the law associated with it. I have a client who wants to disable the banner - but as I understand it, because SS uses cookies she needs to let visitors to her site know that. Please offer guidance here!

Hi Sally! If she has site visitors from Europe she strictly speaking needs the banner to comply with GDPR regulations. But if she wants to turn it off she can, at her own risk. Someone could report her but in reality I very much doubt that this would ever happen. These laws are mostly geared towards the big online businesses.
By the way, in future please post these kind of questions in the group! I don't do tech support via messages. Thanks for understanding 🙂 xo

Kerstin,
Because you are my guru - I am reaching out to ask a question!! I posted a question today and I have no idea if my post goes out to everyone in the forum. Does that depend on the tags you choose? I just want to be sure I am posting correctly in the Circle space. Is there a guide out there on how to navigate Circle?
By the way, not only are you amazing - but I have to say I am loving your artwork posted via Instagram!

Hi Sally! To post in the Circle go to one of the topics from the Circle homepage (e.g. Squarespace Products, whatever is most appropriate) and then select "New Post" - that will post it in that section. If you don't get any replies you might have to comment on it to bump it up. And yes, adding tags is always a good idea, then it's more likely to pop up if someone searches for something.
Good question about a user guide for the Circle, I am not aware of one. I would say make sure your profile is complete and that you have the kind of notification settings you wants, that's all in your account settings. And make sure you add a signature to your profile with your web address, that appears under all your posts.
Also, thanks regarding my fledgling art practice, I am having a lot of fun with it 🙂 xo

Hi there - Can you open up some more spots for your class on Nov 18th. I think this is just what our clients needs to know SS can do fo rthem - they sell memberships. They are considering leaving SS for Kajabi. Being in the class might just save this client from leaving SS. Can you add me to the class?

Hi there! I do not control the spots, please reach out to Maddie Smith who manages the forum and the webinars. In addition to the webinar I will also have a blog post and updates about Member Areas on my website, feel free to sign up to my newsletter to be notified:

Hi Kerstin! Dropping in to say hi, as someone who's subscribed to your emails and been a "fan from afar" the past year or two. I'm just getting started on my "Squarespace Circle" online presence and had to follow you first. 🙂
Thanks for inspiring me to make leaps of faith with my business, even though you didn't know it! I also love seeing the little personal elements you include in your emails, they remind me of my hometown in heart-warming ways (born and raised in Deming, and a Whatcom CC Running Start grad).
Hope to one day connect in person! Take care.

Kerstin, I'm hoping you can help with a problem I'm having.
I've been using Scheduling for a client, and am well versed in SQS and Acuity/SQS Scheduling.
My client is using Zoom for all of her yoga classes during the crisis, and I've wanted to implement the integration, but wasn't sure how to transition her with clients already booked. They've received reminders I've manually added Zoom Meeting info to already, and don't want to implement the integration until I know it will be relatively seamless, as most of her clients are not tech savvy and may be confused with too many changes.
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Hi Kerstin, I'm currently building on the Hayden template and this template has a feature where the header navigation disappears on scroll and then reappears on the second page.
That's a feature I actually like, but on the mobile version, the header never comes back after scroll. I would like to know if there's CSS to replicate the desktop effect of the header to the mobile version. I'd appreciate any feedback thanks a lot.

Hi Michael, thanks for reaching out! I'm afraid I'm not sure how to do that, either. You might want to check with @ChrisSE - if anyone can figure it out it's him!
