  1. Hello tuanphan, Thank you for your response, but I discovered how to change the overlaying colour using Squarespace's native settings without custom CSS. I found the setting under Design > Site Styles > Imagery. I was unable to find the setting before because this menu is buggy. It would populate the settings, but then quickly disappear and display text saying "There are no tweaks available for the selection." I have to refresh the page whilst on this menu to adjust these settings each time I want to do so. My question now is: Do you experience this problem with Squarespace 7.0's website editor? If so, was Squarespace 7.0 always this buggy? Or is it because I'm using a trial version of Squarespace? Because this is not a great first impression.
  2. Hello, I am using Squarespace 7.0 and having trouble with cover pages. Pretty much all cover page layouts adds a white overlaying colour to the background image. I do not like this, because one of the background images is a dark photograph. I want to change it to black. I tried changing this with Custom CSS, but I am a novice and do not know how. I am trialing Squarespace, so I have no website to link to. However, I am not too far in, so you can replicate my situation using the TRADE cover page layout for the Avenue template (though I noticed multiple 7.0 templates all use the same cover page layouts). The styling I tried to use: .sqs-slide-wrapper .scrim {background-color: #000; opacity: 0.7;} It is the only line of code I put into the Custom CSS. I don't know if it needs to be contained in any way.
