  1. Website was fine in password mode. Paid subscription. Launched publicly. Website goes all weird. 1. Different colour background. 2. And I had removed Footer and Heading. Now they're back.
  2. Watching this video and it shows SS just auto re-sizing with a little crop on the sides. But that doesn'thappen with me. https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/205815398
  3. What I'm reading is SS automatically resizes to fit Mobile, but it doesn't with me. "We do this with responsive design, where your content automatically resizes based on the size of the browser window viewing your site. " Posted this in pages forum too. Unsure where too post. Getting lost in the help guides. For a layman, sorry just don't; find the guides user friendly. Anyhoo. I have one landing page with graphics. I have removed the header and footer. the landing page is 4 x 2 second videos. I just want the exact same thing on mobile landing page. But it's severely cropped. Just the middle of desktop, which is about one third of original. Playing around with the edit tool doesn't;t solve as well. That's even more confusing. Anyhoo hoo.. How do I do this?? Cheers
  4. I'm reading some help guides, but sorry SS finding it confusing. My desktop one page, no header, no footer graphic (removed it) design looks shite on mobile. I'm reading it's meant to intuitively crop to fit, if adhering to some guidelines. But I'm finding the process confusing. And when I go into edit.. I'm just moving buttons, sliders, grids around with no idea what I'm doing. So can someone help streamline, simply. I'm not like SS guides. I feel like they have to dumb it down a bit. For me anyway 😉 ** I have one full desktop graphic for may shop. No other buttons. Just a landing page. Currently as a video loop with 5 different coloured backdrop pages. And I want that to be relatively similar on mobile Thanks
  5. Cheers mate. Some feedback to Squarespace then. As a layman... your marketing/information/help guides are way off. Very confusing. I've used SS before maybe 4 years ago. And it was a lot easier. If you;'re changing how things are done now etc.. it's not conveyed well. You spend ages looking for buttons, reading up on stuff, asking questions. I've wasted a day on this.
  6. I'm in a trial account. I had watched YouTube videos by Squarespace and read help guides and they say you 'just click design, click template, change template' WTF. It's not there. I can't. Was reading some feedbacks, and people saying you have to sign a new account?? They're not templates, but layouts?? Anyhoo.. Squarespace this seems confusing af. Misleading. So will probably cancel the subscription.
