Ah you were totally right - I had it set up as a link and not an email in my social links settings. Fixed I think! Thank you so much for all of your help Ziggy!

What happens without any of the code affecting the navigation icons? I suspect there's a problem with how you set it up since the icon was a LINK and not an EMAIL icon.
