  1. Hi all Has anyone figured out a way to have products in multiple categories without having to add that product to multiple stores? It seems bizarre that this isn't already a feature as most stores aren't single layer stores I suspect. I own a shop that has totally different 'categories' like outdoor plants, garden sundries, floristry supplies and indoor plants. Within each of those sit other categories - like watering cans, plant pots etc etc. Some of these products will span multiple categories especially during Christmas - some floristry sundries which will be used to make wreaths for instance, or garden tools which can be gifts. Another example is a plant mister, which is in the sundry category but I also want it to be in the plants category as an add on purchase. Short of making a separate store called Christmas or whatever and then duplicating all of the relevant products into that store I can't find any other way to have these products in multiple categories. Surely I can't be the only one who needs to do this? I've also noticed that although all of my products from multiple stores show up in the inventory not all of the categories from each store do. I have a load of floristry items that I set up originally but now I've created another page with a new store and need to move them to the new category but I can't - any ideas? The way squarespace works seems to be quite basic in terms of its ability to organise your products, and every other platform I've tried lets you have one store where you can add products to multiple categories and have multiple pages using that one store ... any help would be amazing. here's the website if you need to have a look at what I mean. www.frondere.uk thanks!
  2. Thanks Paul. That's incredibly stupid!!! So basically if I don't send stuff out I'd need to not list them on the site which means that I can't tell people that I have them in store. Brilliant!!! That's the most basic of things surely 😞 I guess the only other way to do it is to have those products as a gallery or picture with the text so its not part of the 'store' and just advise people that they are in store only. More unnecessary work. thanks for the reply
  3. Hi I have a retail business which sells some particularly heavy items - compost mainly. I don't want these to be shipped because its just not cost effective for customers or necessary really. I can't seem to find a way to not apply shipping at checkout though. I have pickup enabled but I can't seem to ONLY apply pick up to these products. Is there any way I can do this? Thanks
  4. Hi is there a way to import new products to a website? I'm starting from scratch and have over 400 products but when I try to import it keeps telling me it can't find the product page. I don't seriously need to manually add 400 products one by one do i???? thanks
  5. Hi I'm new to squarespace and am trying to link my instagram to a new section. I've done everything I need to but when I select my instagram account and hit ok I get the below.. {"error_type": "OAuthException", "code": 400, "error_message": "Your account is connected to Facebook account, and your Facebook account's future off-Facebook activity is currently turned off."} I've turned off-facebook activity back on, cleared my cookies, refreshed my browser, refreshed squarespace, but I'm still getting the same message. Any ideas please? Many thanks
