Hey there! I'm rolling out a brand refresh on our Squarespace site before the end of the month. Does anyone have any tips on how best to roll out a large number of site style changes, and some content changes, all in one go?
I feel a bit restricted by being unable to save style changes in draft, finesse, then publish. I would prefer a "ta da" reveal, rather than iterative design/style changes being made live over a number of days, which would look messy to any users in that time.
Here's what I'll be updating:
Fonts (body and heading styles) site wide
Colours site wide (buttons, hover/link colours etc)
Banner imagery including site logo and favicon
Text on at least two key pages
Completely redesigned home page
Site template, functionality and most text/image content all staying the same.
I think I will build a hidden home page, then swap it out to get the "move that bus!" style reveal, but as I'll also be updating global site styles I can't do that for every page. Any ideas for the best way to tackle this, much appreciated!
