Seems like there are a few of us looking for the same! Anyone found a solution yet?

I'm pretty desperate to try and find a workaround for this... before needing to look for another scheduling / booking system. I kinda find it hard to believe that there is no solution to this within Acuity Scheduling? I have a machine (textile machine) that I'd like to rent out per day. One day is minimum. But I need my client to be able to block book this machine for more than one day at a time. All advice from Acuity support I've been given, is that if someone wanted to book my machine for say 3 days... they'd have to book the machine 3 times, once for each of those days. This would obviously just make the customer experience not so great. Does anyone out there know of a way to work-around this? The image attached here is a demonstration of the type of function that I'd need. (i.e. you select your start date and end date.) Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hello I am in a bit of a pickle here. I picked Acuity - partly because I am already with Squarespace - and also I was sure it would most definitely be sufficient for my particular business model. Then I was advised that what I want Acuity to do would not be possible on my Emerging plan, and that I would have to upgrade to the Growing plan in order to achieve what I needed. But now it seems even with the Growing plan, I would still be unable to achieve what I need. I am not very tech-y and probably don't use the right words and / or phrases for certain things. But this is a summary of my issue... I run a textile studio in London, offering workshops and classes for children and adults. I've added our Autumn term schedule for Kids' classes and Adult workshops. So far so good! We also have 5 textile machines available for hire from 10am-5pm, Monday to Friday, which clients can book per day. Additionally, we offer 2-3 portable machines for rent out on a 24-hour basis. However, I'm having trouble overriding the machine availability in the system due to conflicts with our group class schedule. This could however possibly be achieved by creating New Resources / Rooms for each of those machines? But then I run into another problem which doesn't seem to solvable (as far a I know)... As above, the booking of my group classes doesn't seem to be any issue, as they're either a one off class or a series of classes that clients book for set time. But for my machine hire... I need my client to be able to block book more than one day at the time. This (to my real surprise) seems to be impossible with Acuity? For some of our machines it would make no sense for our clients to just book one day. But I also don't want to force my client to have to take for example 1 week at the time. I need my client to be able to book my machine for as many days as they want and feel like thy need. This doesn't seem to be possible! I have just take a couple of screen-shots to demonstrate - The first screen-shot (from excel sheet) is of 3 weeks in October from our Autumn Term schedule, which shows our group classes and events. This works fine with Acuity. The second screen-shot is one of those 3 weeks, where I have demonstrated what scheduling and booking capabilities I need Acuity to achieve. And this seems to be problem / unachievable. It basically shows our group classes + our machines that are for hire with in-house and to take out. What I really want is for a client to be able to - for example - choose a particular machine that he/she wants to work with, and book any number of days for that machine. Does anyone know of a way to workaround this? And if you think (what I suspect) that Acuity might not be suitable for my needs... would anyone be able to recommend any other scheduling platform that could handle this? Any idea and suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

I know Squarespace explicitly say in their video about Dropdowns, that "you can't nest a dropdown within a dropdown" 😕 Does anyone know a way around this? Or would this a complicated custom code job to achieve? To demonstrate what I am trying to do you can look at this site and hover over YARNS & FIBERS, and then you can see how the dropdown has further subcategories with their own Dropdowns... https://funemstudio.com Also see image here... Any help is greatly appreciated!

NOTE! - My site is accessible... but with limited function as we're still working on it. I am trying to set up some of our products pages so that our clients can select their chosen product variants by images. Like this one here... https://tuftbox.co.uk/products/acrylic-tufting-yarn-red-heart-super-saver® (Not my site!) Our site also sell cones and balls of yarn, which comes in 90+ colours. So I would like our clients to be able to select the colour of their yarn (i.e. product variants) by clicking on their chosen colour, (then choosing their weight and qty etc). One of our product pages that we want to do this with is here... https://www.fulhamtextilestudio.com/store/p/8-ply-acrylic-tufting-yarn (again... our site is still WOP) Currently the only way for me to display and allow the selection of the product variants is by choosing your variant and then the image attached to that variant shows up. I kinda want this to be the other way around... that you can see all the colors / variants on the pages... select the ones you like - customise - and add to the cart. I don't know if this requires custom coding or can be created within the SS v7.1 system? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
