Hiding the first page in a folder - Workaround
drawingwithindesign replied to dave2's question in Coding and Customization
Thanks for getting back to me Dave! Unfortunately, this won't work for my client. But what I'm thinking is that we can rename the drop down folder itself something different than the first page, and just settle on the fact that clicking on the folder itself and clicking on the first page within the navigational menu will take the viewer to the same page. I personally use the adirondack template, and this issue doesn't come up there with the drop down menu, which is nice! -
Hiding the first page in a folder - Workaround
drawingwithindesign replied to dave2's question in Coding and Customization
Thank you for this tip! It worked perfectly for me on my laptop, but it didn't work on my phone. On the phone, i was able to press the drop down menu to expand it to see the second link, but it wouldn't let me click on the "folder" itself to go to the first link. Is there any way to fix this with mobile CSS? Thanks! -

Hayden/Bedford: Remove the overlay on just ONE banner image?
drawingwithindesign replied to Elo2's question in Coding and Customization
I figured out the answer! Here is the code: #collection-54e8f6c2e4b068927b0c9dca .banner-thumbnail-wrapper .color-overlay { background-color: transparent !important } You would need to find the collection child ID of the page that has the banner within your index for this to be applied to one of the banner images, or the collection ID of the whole page to have the option of no banner overlay on a singular page. To find your collection ID, search your source code in this way: http://answers.squarespace.com/questions/58545/find-collection-id-squarespace-7 I just used th- 9 replies
