  1. Hi Ziggy, you're right that's the case... I hoped not since I have the excerpt lines "clamped" at a maximum, but some posts have long titles that lengthen the container. Thanks anyway!
  2. Hi there, Hoping someone can tell me why I can't reduce the height of a summary block on my home page. It's too long/high on my mobile view, and though there doesn't seem to be anything obstructing it, I get the red boundary box error every time I try make it smaller. See attached photo. Thanks for the help!
  3. Sorry @Ziggy, thought I had! It's my homepage blog summary, mobile screen. Thanks!
  4. Thank you @artificiel!!! Acuity is SO unintuitive and hard to use - I had found this once before on my own but couldn't find it again without your instructions!!
  5. Hey there, I noticed that my forward/back arrows aren't working on the Blog summary block of my homepage, mobile screen only. I checked the "Inspect" window and it looks like they've been disabled somehow. Does anyone know how to reenable them? And if someone knows how to eliminate the gap between the thumbnail image and the excerpt that would be great! Thank you!
  6. Hey Ziggy, I recently noticed my two-column blog summary on mobile isn't advancing (the forward/back arrows at the top right aren't working. Do you know how to fix this? Thanks!
  7. That was the first thing I tried yesterday and it didn't work, the colours wouldn't change. Worked today though 🤷‍♀️ Thx!
  8. Hey there, I created a custom background colour for some text on my services page after not being able to change it through Site Styles. It almost worked, except that the text box is now shifted outside the grid lines of fluid engine. You'll notice how it doesn't line up with the right side of the image above, but protrudes out to the right. I tried fixing this with padding and it didn't work. (Left side padding worked to shift everything over to the right, but right side padding did not work to shift it back over to the left.) If anyone provide a solution to this little bug that would be great! PS, here is the code I used: {background-color: hsl(30,25%,97%); padding-top: 15px; padding-left:15px; padding-right: 5px}
  9. Amazing, thanks so much! Any ideas on creating an "absolute" position for the Read More button near the bottom of the container?
  10. Site URL: https://designbycaitie.ca/blog Hey there, There are a few more changes I'd like to make to my blog collection page but can't figure out how to do them: 1. Add a 10px radius to the top corners of the container. (It worked for the bottom but didn't apply to the top.) 2. Add padding to the left and right sides of the text. (I thought I got it by targeting ".blog-basic-grid--text", but nothing happened the first few tries, and the last few it only worked on the left side and pushed the right side text out of the container, so I deleted my attempt.) 3. Push the "Read More" link down to (near) the bottom of the containers, so it's equally as far from the bottom as from the side (once the padding is in place). 4. Change the "Read More" link font colour to #606060. Thank you in advance!
  11. Site URL: https://designbycaitie.ca/blog/affordable-plug-in-wall-sconces Hi there, I used some CSS to remove the Categories and reduce the Excerpt length in my Blog Summary blocks, but it seems to have increased the white space underneath the posts. When I used "Inspect" to try see what I could target, the unwanted white space is showing as blue (content), rather than orange or green (white space). Does anyone know how I can remove the unwanted white space in both my Blog Summaries (the "Sidebar" and the "Related Articles" section)? See image attached. Thanks so much!
  12. Hey Ziggy, Your solution worked great so I added it to my desktop blog summaries as well, but it has caused extra white space to appear. I've tried tweaking the padding with no success. Do you know how this can be fixed? (See attached image.) Thanks!
  13. Site URL: https://designbycaitie.ca/blog Hey there, I found some code by Inside the Square to create a two-column layout for blog collection pages. It works great, but now my excerpts look wayyy too long, and the category tags take up too much space. Can someone provide code to 1) REDUCE the excerpt to three lines ending in an ellipses, and 2) REMOVE the category tags, both changes on mobile view only? Thank you!
  14. I'm also wondering how to add a subscriber to a specific mailing list... there is no obvious way to do this in the backend. Would love an answer if anyone knows how!
  15. Site URL: https://www.designbycaitie.ca I have blog post summary blocks on my main home page and within every blog post. The excerpts are fine on desktop but are too long and unwieldy on mobile. I haven't been able to find any code that disables/removes the excerpt from mobile view only. Does anyone know how to do this?
  16. This worked, THANK YOU Ziggy!!! I'm now trying to reduce the padding around that Carousel summary block on mobile. Again, I haven't been able to find exactly what I need. Is there a way to cut off all the excerpts at the same point (perhaps ending in a "..."), and reduce the vertical padding? Again, I don't want to use a block ID since this is a template to be reused again and again.
  17. Site URL: https://designbycaitie.ca/blog/template Hey there, I'm trying to make ONE of my summary blocks (not all of them!) show up as a two-column grid on mobile view. I'm creating a blog post template to reuse indefinitely, so I don't want to use any specific block IDs that I'll have to change for every new post. I've spent hours looking for a solution to no avail. This piece of code almost worked: https://www.rebeccagracedesigns.com/blog/summary-two-columns-mobile#:~:text=The following code is used in the video. It achieved the two-column effect for my GRID summary, but it messed up my CAROUSEL summary directly above it by displaying ALL the summary blog posts as a grid, rather than two at a time in a carousel. Can someone PLEASE provide a simple code for this? Would really appreciate it!
