  1. what about an integration with something like Mailchimp? Then the purchasers go into a mailing list and you can send to them as often and over years and years if you want.
  2. Hi, along this thread, I want to turn off Customer Notifications for a sale and use Mailchimp. Can someone give me help with this? thanks in advance
  3. Thanks so much. I've realized that we'll have to set a proportion for desktop, tablet and mobile, and that anything in between will be somewhat wonky because of a fixed aspect ratio. If I'm wrong about that, let me know! thanks again for all the info.
  4. First, thank you so much for the help. Derrick, see attached, it still has the white margin/padding at the bottom. The larger issue is the the way the blog/summary is responsive -- it won't crop the image as the block changes proportion, like all other SS image blocks. So the transition to other screen proportions throws it all out of whack. Make sense?
  5. Site URL: https://lizard-antelope-tm9b.squarespace.com/ I put a blog post via a summary block on my home page, and I just want the image, but it's responsive in a completely different way - it keeps its aspect ratio/proportion no matter what. - I've turned off all the metadata. So nothing should be hiding below it. Tried all the aspect ratio options, that doesn't help. Automatic is the worst. The image is currently 4:3. Love to know if there's another way to put a blog post on the home page and have it act the same way as other blocks, with no padding (if that's the issue)
  6. Hi, hopping onto this topic - I have a blog post on my home page, alongside other blocks, all within one section. I used a summary so it pulls the content automatically. But no matter which design I try - carousel, list, etc., the blog image won't conform to the new fluid grid, and it's responsive in a completely different way. You can see in the pic attached that when screen width changes, the padding at the bottom increases. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
  7. I have the same question. Also, one of the fields for "description' looks like it should allow a link, but when I put it in the font defaults to white, not an option in any of my color palettes. Thanks for any help.
  8. Yup, we built that. So I guess that's what we'll do! Thanks again for your insight, and also for keeping the pressure on SS to fix some of these big issues.
  9. Hi Paul, The member nav issue remains, is there a workaround that you know of? I need my members to flow seamlessly between basic unpaid content and paid content. If that doesn't exist, how about ways to style the super-basic Account sidebar nav? Thanks in advance for any help. I've read the 3 options, but there's a tantalizing lack of info at the end of this bit on SqSp: ............... Don’t show navigation - Hide the member area page links from both the main navigation and Customer Account panel. If you choose this option, create a custom member navigation on the ON THE WHAT??
  10. Thanks, it does. But I realized that I'd be hiding every title of every post going back 6 years and I'd have to go in and redo them all manually to put in the title within the text box. But thanks for confirming that it *might* have worked!
  11. Thanks - just to be thorough, could the page be structured differently to allow for CSS to do this? ie maybe I could put the title in the body of the post and hide the title just on the post page? I'm reaching here, I know. And we have the basic commerce plan that will accommodate javascript.
  12. Thanks - we changed the UI so we ended up not needing it, but I'll follow your suggestion for the next time! best- Leah
  13. Hi, thanks - https://grouper-glockenspiel-5ms6.squarespace.com/ And it's public. The area in question is under "Our Posts"
  14. Hi, @creedon more about moving blog titles above or below the image. I'm in 7.1 and on the post page (not the grid) I need the title to be below the image. Was thinking a workaround might be to put the title in the body of the post, then hide the original title (the one on top) just on the post page. Thoughts? Code to do that? Thanks in advance!
  15. Me too. People come into the non-member area, see the content, then go to the member area and lose all that content because of there only being one clumsy dropdown. Hello? Squarespace? help?
  16. yes, but I don't need any content, just a simple menu
  17. Site URL: https://grouper-glockenspiel-5ms6.squarespace.com/ We're putting dates into the native Squarespace Events page - NOT using Acuity - and the day is displaying incorrectly on the front end on the Events page. We've checked location settings, that's not it. We've gone in and reloaded the events repeatedly, and the date displays correctly until you hit Done, then it defaults to a day earlier with no time visible. HELP please.
  18. Site URL: https://grouper-glockenspiel-5ms6.squarespace.com/ I need to be able to have an internal button - NOT the main nav at the top - that let's people choose a page to go to. i.e. "Search the US" and the dropdown lets them choose various cities. Again, not the main nav. This is within a page. Any idea how to do this now with Fluid and 7.1? - NOT an accordion as I understand it. There's no secondary content to open up. Thanks for any help!
