How to hide single page on membership navigation

I am trying to achieve something similar - just "not show" a link to a specific page - but site wide ... I still want this page accessible, and it is linked via a separate button in the Menu already. Seems clunky/horrible that users of the platform are doing this kind of thing with CSS themselves. Surely the platform could provide a "Show In Menu" toggle, which the back-end can handle during processing to just *not even render* HTML elements for those items with the Option toggled off ? Am I missing something...?
