  1. i had spent quite a bit of time doing back and forth with squarespace about this when we experienced it. they were adamant that it was problem on Mozilla's end. In any case, the issue seemed to resolve itself after a few days...not ideal
  2. your site is loading for me on firefox. what did you do to solve the issue??
  3. did you or anyone else figure out a solution to this problem?? it started showing up for us yesterday! Very frustrating as the issue could be causing us reputation harm and loss of business. If this persists too long, almost think squarespace might need to provide some credit to our account (that is of course if they fix it, if they don't then it might be time to load up webflow or bubble etc.) Really frustrated by this, I want to continue using squarespace and for it to be functional.
  4. inspect element won't change things except you locally to test how something will look
  5. So I'm hosting a blog in a part of my website. When I try to do the "email campaign" to turn that into an email template to send out, it looks terrible! it just takes two pictures from the blog, makes them huge and drops all the content. If I try to edit the campaign draft myself, it's really difficult to get it to do what I want like changing the size of the font for a portion of the email campaign. Something like substack just lets me send the blog exactly how it looks in the browser into someone's email. Is there anyways to do that? My blog has some transitions and stuff but that, of course, doesn't need to be in the email.
  6. Hello, I followed the instructions here: https://forum.squarespace.com/topic/207845-move-reading-time-under-blog-title/ to successfully add "reading time" to my blog post. Yay! However, I would also like to add "reading time" to the general blog page. The page that houses all the blogs written. Anyone have any advice on how to this? Thank you so much in advance.
  7. so i tested out the em dash. you have to use the unicode, "—" Basically but the subscript tag and the unicode tag are actually HTML. not markdown. So idiotic that it's misrepresented everywhere on substack as markdown.
  8. well, apparently, i had the wrong markdown for the superscript...i feel dumb. it's supposed to be this " Plants need CO2" but also, this shouldn't be something that's an "advanced" feature anyways. And now i'm struggling to add an em dash.
  9. i, for the life of me, haven't been able to get this work. incredibly frustrating having spent hours this issue, trying to research it when on word or google docs, it takes me a second. feels like it should be SO easy. from my understanding, i need to do this in markdown? That in itself seems a bit ridiculous. like you shouldn't need markdown to this because when you're on the edit blog page and add a markdown component, it's so much more clunky to work within that box. But okay, I'll try and just get it done. But even then using the markdown text and publishing it doesn't seem to yield what i want it. If i want "1" in the superscript, apparently, it's supposed to be represented as this: "[^1]" and have "[^1]:" in the bottom but that doesn't seem to work!
  10. Title: Our site has a very simple sign-up form to collect emails for people interested in our product launch. They visit the site, put in their email address. We have a google (spread) sheet that's connected to it. The way it was working recently was that a user would put in their email address and it would populate on our sheet along with a time stamp. That's not working anymore. The email address still populates but the timestamps don't anymore.
  11. Site URL: https://removed.com Just trying to throw up a really quick and dirty landing page to collect emails. On the mobile version, I notice the site displays a menu button on the type right. I tried playing around in the settings but all I get are options to change the aesthetic of the icon or some visual element but not to remove the icon entirely. We only have the landing page so it doesn't make sense to have a blank menu that has nothing and it looks unprofessional. I purchased the personal plan by the way. Edited to add the domain:
