We need a tablet viewport so we can edit tablet layout - Squarespace websites look absolutely terrible on iPads! C'mon guys its 2024

It's so annoying that they have removed the Gallery Block in 7.1
I want to create a Small Square that changes images, I don't want to do a gallery section that spans across the entire screen. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Every month, there are fewer and fewer and fewer updates for Websites. Disappointing.
I guess that's the reason Squarespace got rid of versions; no pressure to release new features or updates.

It would also be great to see a tablet & laptop breakpoint not just desktop and mobile. 
The websites look horrible on iPads especially buttons and spacing. It's so disappointing that a major service like squarespace doesn't have these basic functions.

I get your frustration. It’s surprising Squarespace hasn’t added a tablet viewport yet in 2024. It would make designing for tablets so much easier. Hopefully, they’ll update this feature soon. For those using Lightroom to display your photos, improved tablet support would be a real game-changer.

It would also be great to see a tablet & laptop breakpoint not just desktop and mobile.

The ability to toggle projects off and on in the Work/Portfolio section without deleting them entirely would be huge.
I put a lot of work into building those pages and being able to show/hide them would be ideal.

I would also request:
Ability to set up h5 and h6 without having to use CSS and markdown. Ability to set up more colours and buttons, and apply hover effects without code. Ability to disable the /cart page if you're on a business plan but don't do e-commerce. Streamlined Squarespace's CSS/JS files, and/or the ability to disable stuff we don't use (i.e. disabling js loads for recaptcha and the Roboto font if we're not using them at all). Please please please add viewpoints for tablets. The current set up is not truly "responsive" as it is.
