  1. It's been awhile since I worked on this, but the gallery width slider is on the product page layout. Go to a product, click the top left Edit button, then Edit Design, then Edit Section. You need to find the exact width of the gallery and product image sizes in your browser's developer tools. Here's a screenshot from Chrome DevTools for one of our products that shows the image sizes. Reduce the gallery width so that it's less than the product image's instrinsic size. Save the changes to the product page and check the live website to see if image quality is better.
  2. Thanks for the reply. We've done all of the troubleshooting that I can think of. They've tested the site in updated versions of Microsoft Edge and Chrome on different computers and different internet connections. They've cleared their browser cache and cookies, and tried private/incognito browser windows. All Javascript and CSS on the site is working for them. The left click to zoom feature on product pages is the only issue. Their cursor turns into the magnifying glass icon, but left clicking doesn't do anything. This could affect site visitors when we launch the site, so it needs to work even in browsers that aren't up to date. I've tested in Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Opera with and without the latest updates installed, and it always works for me. I stopped using CSS scroll-behavior: smooth; for anchor navigation because I noticed that it doesn't work if the Visual Effects setting 'Animate controls and elements inside windows' is disabled for Windows operating system users. Is the left click image zoom function similar? Is there a function built into the operating system that has to be activated for it to work?
  3. A client showed me that product zoom isn't working on any computer that they use, but it's working for me on different systems and browsers. The cursor changes to a magnifying glass when they hover over a product image, but left clicking doesn't enable the zoomed in image. I can't duplicate the issue on my end. I'm interested to know if anyone else has seen this issue. I haven't found anything in a search.
  4. I'm working on a different issue with the zoom feature, but I noticed the problem with image quality. Squarespace scales images that I upload at 2000px wide down to 1000px wide (less on smaller screens), and uses the same size image for both product display and zoom. A solution that I found for image quality was to reduce the gallery width on product pages so that it's smaller than the intrinsic size of the image. The 1000px wide product image is sharper when the gallery width is constrained to 600px wide. You can use devtools in your browser to find the exact width of the gallery and rendered image sizes.
  5. We're rebuilding a Wordpress website on Squarespace. The store is connected to an existing Printful account through Woocommerce. The Squarespace site is in development on its built-in Squarespace domain. If we create a new store in Printful and connect it to Squarespace on this temporary domain, what happens when we connect the permanent domain to Squarespace to launch the new site? Are there settings for the Printful store that will need to be changed? The existing Woocommerce store needs to stay online until the Squarespace website is ready to launch. I want to confirm that we can create a Squarespace-connected store with products synced to the temporary domain so that they client can review and approve everything, then connect the permanent domain to Squarespace when we're ready to launch without any issues with Printful. Thanks for any help.
