  1. Hi Ziggy, Yes that's right, the homepage is only meant to show for a few seconds before taking you to the main site. Essentially I just want my name on the home page to be full site width for all browsers, is this possible through custom CSS? Thanks
  2. This is the current method I have used, this image is not downscaling to mobile. As mentioned in my previous reply, the ideal solution would be to make the text block method within the image below, expand to full site width on all browsers.
  3. Hi Ziggy, So I have just added a background image to a homepage and then not added any text etc. Ideally I would like to be able to add my name in text to a homepage within square space and then code the text block to be full width to the browser. Is this possible?
  4. Hi, I have gone for an oversized full bleed text logo for my home page - I have done this by creating a Jpeg logo with a width of 2560px (I couldn't see a solution to do this design via squarespace itself - please advise if there is a known solution?). I am happy with how it looks on my 16" macbook but it doesn't work at all on mobile and I really need the homepage design to scale down to show my full name - any ideas? Thanks in advance!
  5. Hi Ziggy, I have just noticed that this issue was fixed using your code for the home page/over view page of my site. But the scroll bar issue is still happening for other pages on my site such as the travel pages. Is there a way to make this code apply to the full site/all pages? https://alexgale.co.uk/south-east-asia-2022 Thanks!
  6. Hi, Thanks for your suggestion, unfortunately this didn't work. Any other ideas? Thanks
  7. So I have unwanted vertical and horizontal scroll bars on my desktop website. I am not sure when/why they appeared but they cause my site to jump left and right/off centre when a viewer is using any touch pad scrolling or left and right keys to cycle through the images. Any ideas?
  8. My website used to align all gallery content to the middle of the page so the images are aligned to the centre of the page on every size of browser. My site used to do so but I am not sure what has changed as my site now shows the image content on the left side of the centre of the page which is in correct - I can't find what to target to address this issue but seems like a margin adjustment? I am viewing on a 16" macbook but my site image / page content should always be centre of every browser. I have attached a screen shot I hope shows the issue more using arrows highlighting the width gap - please help! Thanks
  9. Hi Chris, Ah perfect - I think that did the trick! Thank you very much for your help! Cheers,
  10. Hi Chris, Thanks for your response. Unfortunately the mobile site still has the issue, anymore ideas? Cheers, Alex
  11. Hi Chris, I actually just noticed that the mobile version of the site is effected by this CSS. The footer information bar previously targeted by your code is now not visible without scrolling down on iPhone, is there anyway to avoid the mobile site being effected? Thanks! Alex
  12. Hi Chris, Thank you so much - that worked perfectly! I just had to remove the space under the gallery content from each page to avoid footer height fluctuation. Really appreciate the help!
  13. Site URL: http://alexgale.co.uk/ Hi, I'm looking to choose a specific height to lock my footer bar just above the bottom of every size of web browser. The desired distance between my footer and the bottom of my browser is perfect when viewing on my 16" Macbook pro. But when viewing on my 24" monitor the footer jumps up as well on smaller displays disappearing entirely. See attached a screen shot for both 16" Macbook Pro footer position (Green Tick) and 25" monitor position (Red Cross). The footer is fine for the mobile version! The issue refers to the main content of my site and not the initial landing page that last for a few seconds. Thanks!
