Open all images on a page in a single click-through lightbox
Kimbal replied to Kimbal's topic in Fonts, colors and images
@tuanphan Might you also have a solution for this please? How to make all images on a page (made using image blocks) open in a clickthrough lightbox in the same way they would do if they were in a gallery block? Many thanks for your help! 🙂 -
Site URL: https://www.kimbalbumstead.com/projects Hello, I would like to change the text colour of portfolio items from black to white for mobile viewing. I have tried this code in Design>Custom CSS but it doesn't work. @media screen and (max-width:640px) { .portfolio-text { color: #000000 !important; } } What would be the correct code? Many thanks

Open all images on a page in a single click-through lightbox
Kimbal replied to Kimbal's topic in Fonts, colors and images
Hello, thanks for your reply, I would like all the images on a page like this made with image blocks: https://www.kimbalbumstead.com/painting/immersions to open in a lightbox, when clicked, in the same way as they do for images in a gallery block like on this page: https://www.kimbalbumstead.com/painting/minipaintings I basically want to be able to click through all the images on a page in a lightbox in the same way as with gallery block, but using image block instead. Ps. I do not want to include the banner/ header image in the lightbox I hope it makes sense what I said 🙂 Many thanks -
Thanks for your reply. I have figured out that I can just have the arrows left and right if I make it a carousel. This works well enough for me. Thanks anyway! 🙂

Site URL: https://www.kimbalbumstead.com/about Hello, I have a question regarding adding a scroll bar to a summary block. I have a section on my page which shows news items under the heading "what i'm up to at the moment" https://www.kimbalbumstead.com/about I only have 3 news items showing in the summary block, but I would like to add a scroll function within that summary block, so that it's possible to see the other news items. Does anyone know how to do that? Alternatively, is there a way of clicking through to see the other items? Many thanks Kimbal 🙂

Change a single button from Outline to Solid
Kimbal replied to Kimbal's topic in Customize with code
Thank you! 🙂 -
Site URL: https://www.kimbalbumstead.com/painting/immersions Hello, I am looking for a code that will allow users to open all images on a single portfolio page in a lightbox. The images are in imageblocks, not a gallery. Currently they open individually as lightbox images when clicked, but I would like them all to open in the same continuous lightbox so that you can just click through all the images without needing to exit, scroll and click the next one.... https://www.kimbalbumstead.com/painting/immersions Any ideas? Many thanks Kimbal

Site URL: https://www.kimbalbumstead.com/shop Hello, I am looking for a CSS code that can target a specific button on my page, to change it from Outline to Solid. My sitewide button settings are set to Outline (which I want to keep) but there's just one light blue button on this page near the bottom which i'd like to target https://www.kimbalbumstead.com/shop Can I do this with the block ID for the button? #block-yui_3_17_2_1_1652019466336_1891 Ive tried guessing various codes but obviously none of them worked! Any help much appreciated! 🙂

@tuanphan Hello, thank you very much. and Sorry for slow reply. My site is still under construction, but here is the demo url https://pigeon-sparrow-yjxp.squarespace.com/ I would like the Projects on the home page to link to the Projects section (https://pigeon-sparrow-yjxp.squarespace.com/projects), and the Paintings word to link to the Paintings section (https://pigeon-sparrow-yjxp.squarespace.com/painting). Currently they are just linking to the blank portfolio pages on the home page. I would like the words to just forward directly to the relevant sections. I do not want the Homepage to appear in my URL, nor in the Navigation bar. Many thanks for your help! :)

Ah I see, ok, fair enough, thanks @tuanphan. Can you please let me know how I can set a portfolio item as a custom URL? What code do I need for that? I am building a website that has 4 main sections (2 portfolios and 2 normal pages) So I'd like it that when you click the item on the home page it will directly link to those pages Also, if I create a homepage with those 4 portfolio items, then this 'HOME' appears in my URL's for the website. But I just want the URL's to be www.website.com/pagename not www.website.com/home/pagename Many thanks for your help! Kimbal

Hello, I am also looking for a solution to this. I would like to create a section on my homepage similar to this website https://www.sebastiancox.co.uk/ . I would like the background image to change when hovering over the text, and then the clickthrough links to go to other portfolio pages on the website. I see that it's possible to do it with the Hover effect in Portfolio section on 7.1, but I I don't want to have to build the whole website within one portfolio page. @tuanphan do you have any advice on this? Many thanks Kimbal
