  1. Abstracts and a couple of the sections on the Photos Portfolio page.
  2. Still can't seem to turn off Lightbox captions for certain galleries.
  3. Actually, it didn't solve the issue. I ended up forgoing the hover option and placing the names so they're static over the image thumbnails. It wouldn't have been my first choice, but at least the names show in every view now.
  4. I did, and heard back from them. And in other words, It's on some list and may or may not be addressed. It's not a glamorous or marketable thing, so it gets bumped down the line. Reminds me of Adobe. It sucks because I have a new site and now need to cut and paste a couple almost two hundred images worth of metadata from Lightroom. Thanks for contacting us about this. We’ve noted your report with our Engineering and Design teams for review. They’ll use this feedback when creating fixes and improvements for future releases.There are many variables that we need to test against before we can make changes, and we can’t guarantee changes for this issue in the immediate future. That said, our teams consider all feedback, and your input is always encouraged.
  5. Site URL: https://garlic-hawk-pdp3.squarespace.com/ I have a portfolio page where the project titles for each section are seen via the hover option. On a desktop the hover works fine and on a phone the titles appear below the thumbnails. But on an iPad viewed horizontally, the site is shown in desktop form. But since you can't hover on an iPad there are no titles shown. How can I force this view to show titles? pwd: opensesame
  6. Site URL: https://raccoon-oarfish-szer.squarespace.com/ I'm using the following code for custom social icons in the header: .header-menu-actions-action:nth-of-type(2) { svg { display:none; } background-image: url(https:.....png); background-size: 100%; background-repeat: no-repeat; } That all works fine, but I can't figure out how to create a hover style for the icons I've uploaded. I'm thinking I could upload a different color .png file for hover, but all my attempts at figuring out how/where to add a:hover anywhere does not work when attempting additional code. All my searches have found how to add the above snippet, but nothing about hover. pwd: Largeosity
  7. I figured out the coloring to the active link on the mobile navigation. But I still get an underline. .header-menu-nav-item--active a { text-decoration: none !important; color: #BF6403 !important; }
  8. I have this as my mobile navigation: .header-menu-nav-item a { font-size: 2rem !important; text-align:left !important; background-color: rgba(0,0, 0, 0.4) !important; color: #dfe0e1 !important; text-decoration: none !important; } Everything works, but the text is still underlined. I'd also like to make the active link another color. Site https://raccoon-oarfish-szer.squarespace.com Pwd: Largeosity
  9. Was there ever any response or answer to this problem? None of my info from Lightroom is being imported.
  10. Excellent, thank you! Interesting though, I get a syntax error when pasting the code:
  11. Still there. Right now it's still a photo that appears as a full screen image when the baby head is clicked. I would like that photo to appear as a configurable pop-up over the existing screen, not as an image which appears on a new page. Is that even possible?
  12. Site URL: https://raccoon-oarfish-szer.squarespace.com On the bottom mobile navigation screen of my site, how can I adjust its height and color? Also the color of the social icons which aren't mimicking their colors on the rest of the site. Pwd: Largeosity
  13. Site URL: https://raccoon-oarfish-szer.squarespace.com/info I have linked an image in a page (baby head at bottom) that when clicked will show another image. It all works, but is there a way to control the size of the image that pops up? Right now it's full screen. Pwd: Largeosity
  14. Site URL: https://raccoon-oarfish-szer.squarespace.com/ I've create a Portfolio page with a gallery which images link to child pages of images and custom design, colors. etc. Is there a way if I create a new design Gallery page, I can link those original child pages and their designs with the new Gallery main layout? I hate the idea of having to re-make those pages. Maybe if I can copy the CSS from the inspector to the pages the new Gallery makes? Pwd: Largeosity
  15. On a couple of pages with galleries, the content doesn't reach the bottom of the page. Resulting in a white area between that and the footer. https://raccoon-oarfish-szer.squarespace.com/projects/spiders?p Pw: Largeosity I tried making the whole site background the same color as the gallery background, but that doesn't seem to alleviate the white. body { background-color: #DFE0E1 !important; } What am I missing?
  16. Since this thread was already started, I'll add to it instead of a new one. My client asked if images in the gallery slideshow can be zoomed/enlarged in the mobile version of the site: https://raccoon-oarfish-szer.squarespace.com/projects Pwd: Largeosity
  17. Thank you! It works great for the phone (although I'm having a hard time finding the right selector to adjust the font size), but on an iPad the titles still don't show. It seems like the iPad shows the desktop site, but rollovers don't work of course.
  18. Figured it out. #collection-(number for page) { background-color: #8D8D89 !important; }
  19. *As it turns out I do have an issue. On the Contacts page, why does the bottom grey section not hit the Footer? One solution would be to make that page color match the section. WHich I guess gets back to the question of how.* https://raccoon-oarfish-szer.squarespace.com Pwd. Largeosity
  20. I changed my design after posting this question. The only thing I discovered about overall page coloring was to add code to the main site are, not individual pages. Which works in a way, but adds the color to the whole site. I would still like to know if there's a way to add background color to individual pages. Pwd. Largeosity
  21. Site URL: https://raccoon-oarfish-szer.squarespace.com I have a Portfolio page set up as Grid:Overlay. The rollover captions on the thumbnails work great on a desktop browser, but on a mobile device there is no rollover and therefore no captions. Is there a way to make the captions static on mobile devices? Pwd: Largeosity
  22. Thank you Caroline, much appreciated! For future reference, do you know how the images on the gallery and blog grid pages can could be adjusted?
