I'm making some updates to my website. I'm using the Japser Jin template with some minor modifications.
I created this site a few years ago. When I added images to the layouts, I used images that were 1160x725, 72 dpi.
I have noticed that some of my images looked less than crisp and figured that it was because the devices I'm using have better resolution compared to what I was using a few years ago.
I tried just taking the same images and saving them at 2x. I was hoping that would increase the resolution, but not make the images bigger. But, the images are just bigger… I don't like how big the images get on desktop, it's disorienting on a larger monitor. I would prefer them to be 1160w.
Is there any easy/efficient fix? Can I force the images to a certain size or column width?
Thanks!

Some of the images are my older images at 1160x725, some of them are larger, higher res images.
