Hello, for some reason when I click the product image for any product in the shop, it pops up and just shows white (not the image). Does anyone know why this would be? password: polypodium44 Also, how do I get the product recommendations to be farther down with a smaller font? Thank you!

Hmm on my computer at least the second gallery looks better to me, but that might be because I have a faster connection. I think I will simply have to decide which one to use and go through and redo all the galleries on the site to match. Sigh.

I'm having a similar issue, but I prefer the animation on the gallery section instead of the gallery block (unless I'm getting them mixed up...). But I prefer the overall look of the bottom gallery with the animation row by row instead of each individual thumbnail loading on its own. Any thoughts of how to fix this? Thanks!

Thank you! That fixed everything, except for adding the image descriptions to the lightbox...I've seen it done, but I don't know how to do it myself. Hi, I'm new here. I have 3 questions: 1) I'm wondering how to customize the lightbox on this website with code? I want the background to be solid white and for the description to show below the image. Also for the image to be larger. Is there any way to have a title and a description, or only description? The lightbox here is great but I don't have any idea how to do it: https://www.lucasmasch.com/ 2) How do I get the dropdown links under 'work' to align the other way? The menu is too wide and the links align right instead of left. 3) The margin between the menu and content on the 'Shop' page is enormous. I don't see any function to make it less so I guess I have to do it with code, but don't know how. On the homepage above (password: behold4) you can see the testimonials carousel...I want the arrows to be plain white and without a background. I tried to find the solution in the forums before but none of the code I tried worked. I want all the arrows on all carousels to be plain without the circle background...color of the arrow modified by the background color scheme of the section. Thank you!

Hi, I'm making the switch from Wordpress to Squarespace (3rd SS website) because I love this platform. My biggest hesitation has been the lack of a decent lightbox function...I can't for the life of me understand why an amazing company that hosts so many artists' websites has the lamest lightbox of any platform. Why are there so few options with it? Even Shopify has a better lightbox app (XO Gallery) than Squarespace and that is sad. 😞 😞 😞 That said, is there any way to add - with custom code - a lightbox that includes a magnifier + captions? I saw one post where someone mentioned adding https://www.lightgalleryjs.com/ to a SquareSpace site. So I'm guessing it is possible - somehow - I just have no idea how to do it. Would love my captions to be broken between title and description below as well. Not sure why they removed these features since they're kind of crucial for a lot of artists. Hi, I was looking for this too and found this blog post that helped me: https://stnsvn.com/blog/how-to-make-a-split-navigation-in-squarespace-71 My only issue with it now is that the menu snaps back down below the logo when I load a new page, then snaps back up on either side of the logo. Pretty annoying. I wish they'd make it easier to do this without it lagging in this way. Let me know if you get it to work properly!! Hadley

Thanks Paul, that makes sense. I emailed the 3 of them to let them know that the 'account' is not a membership. One of them had emailed me like "I made an account so can I have the link?" (to my membership Discord) She thought making the account made her a member, but her subscription did not go through. I think this might be something that confuses quite a few people. Just wanted to make sure the 3 of them did want to sign up, as they might expect the membership to work for them when they haven't actually registered. 😐 I wish this didn't happen, honestly.

Hi, I set up my Members Area with subscription (paid) blocks. I've had 3 people successfully sign up as paying members. However, now 3 other people have signed up (unknown to me) but are not paying for it. I'm very confused. They should not be able to sign up for an account without being a paid subscriber.
