iDeal is THE way to pay online in the Netherlands and it's a shame that many Dutch businesses aren't able to use Squarespace as it's not supported. Since Stripe already supports iDeal, this naturally seems like a great option. Squarespace are loosing a lot of business as a result of this! I and others have messaged support and posted in forums and it definitely feels like many will just give up on this and go elsewhere.

I find it interesting that iDEAL isn't integrated in already since Commerce is meant to be suitable for a Dutch audience, yet doesn't allow us to use the most frequently used payment option in the Netherlands. Most Dutch people cannot pay with their cards using the standard process... Messaged customer support but it probably isn't on the top of developers to do list.
