is it possible to apply this styling on hover?

I added it to the custom CSS and removed it from the Page Injection, but the black is still showing up when the page first loads.

I built this page to look like a different brand, coded in the backgrounds, fonts, etc. When the page loads it flashes the native black background. Is there any way to fix this?

I have these two accordion blocks next to each other -- when you open one, it expands the background of the other, is this fixable?

I coded in this custom hover feature (on about) for this menu and I am trying to have the ends of the wavy underline rounded like the built-in text decoration style seen below (on "design chew"). I have tried everything but cant figure out if it is an issue with the margin cutting off the line or the actual style of the underline itself. Secondarily, is there a way (on "design chew") to move that text-decoration down further from the text?
