Reduce Margin custom css requested

Hi all I am looking for custom css to reduce the margin around the logo and menu items in my website header. Right now the header is so thick. I have custom css setting the logo to 250px and custom css to reduce the padding to 0 which made a slight difference. the vertical padding in site styles is 1vw, can't seem to reduce it to 0.
Any ideas? Any cusom css that has worked for you?
