How to add students into a member area

We also need to manually add people to member areas and courses. Most of these people are already customers or subscribers, so it would be as simple as creating a button that gives access to available courses or memberships. This could work in the same way as the "remove" link in the customer account. -

We are having the same issue. We need the ability to add members and students to courses manually. This is a significant oversight. -
We also need the ability to ship physical goods with memberships. Is this in the development pipeline?
