It's worked, but only partially. Everything is scrolling vertically, the only problem is that the images are compressed horizontally now so their proportions are all stretched out.

It looks great on desktop, but if there's a way I can force these kind of galleries to behave in the way a vertical gallery block would, I'd prefer to do that. Example images of what it should look like compared to what it currently displays.
