  1. Site URL: https://www.litworld.org Hi all, Would anyone be able to help me figure out how to hyperlink an alternate logo (coded through header injection on certain pages) to the homepage? The logo on our site (Beford, 7.0) wasn't visible when using the transparent header, but we really liked how it looked so we inserted this code into pages using the transparent header so that we could replace the default logo with one that would be visible: <style> #logoImage { content: url("https://static1.squarespace.com/static/524608b4e4b0781833bcf0b5/t/61b3c14209abe57223c36e18/1639170371065/bethestorywithlogo_white.png");} </style> However, when clicking the alternate logo on pages with this code, the logo won't redirect back to the homepage. If anyone knows how to hyperlink an image in the header, that would be really appreciated. Thanks!
  2. Site URL: https://www.litworld.org/home Hi all, Could anyone help with reducing the padding (or increasing the margins) for the text overlaying the banner on our homepage? We used some custom CSS to have the text be left-aligned, but the text block itself is still centered on the image and obscuring the faces. Here's the custom CSS currently at work: .homepage .has-promoted-gallery #promotedGalleryWrapper .sqs-gallery-block-slideshow .meta .meta-description p, .has-promoted-gallery .promoted-gallery-wrapper .sqs-gallery-block-slideshow .meta .meta-description p { width: 100% !important; text-align: left; } If anyone could help, it would be hugely appreciated!
  3. @Wolfsilon Hi Daniel, Thanks for helping troubleshoot! When you say you can see the banner bars on desktop, do you mean the black bars still appearing on the top/bottom (and sides) of the image? I've noticed the same thing and wasn't sure if that's how it's supposed to work or if there's something we've been missing. Also, thank you for the kind offer! It makes a huge difference, especially for smaller nonprofits like us. 🙂 We're in the midst of redoing our site to make it a bit more user-friendly and clear, so any help would be very much appreciated. If it's any easier, you can also feel free to email me at Hannahpolauf@litworld.org. Again, thank you!
  4. Site URL: https://www.litworld.org/demohomepage Hi all, The banner we have on our soon-to-be homepage looks great at full-width, but we're having a problem with making it responsive. Whenever the window is made smaller or when previewed on mobile, instead of cropping to the width of the page, the banner stays the same dimensions but these black bars appear (attached are screenshots of what it looks like at full width and when cropped). Ideally, we'd like the banner to zoom in on part of the photo instead of having those black bars appear. I'm not sure if it's because of the text we have on top of the image, but if anyone can help, that would be very much appreciated!
  5. This worked great, thank you! One question - it's now doing this for all pages on the site. Is there any way to make this work only on the homepage?
  6. It's close -we were hoping that header and the text at the bottom could both be left-aligned and, if possible, closer to the left margins of the image (but not sure if Squarespace is able to do that).
  7. Site URL: https://www.litworld.org/demohomepage Hi, My organization is building out a new homepage and we're running into a problem with the gallery image/banner on top. We're trying to have the text on that image align left so it doesn't cover the girl's face, but despite having it be "top left aligned" in design, it keeps showing up as centered. Any advice would be much appreciated - thanks!
