  1. This is the response that I received: "Ok, the reason - you need to have a Tags control in order to work with a ?tag query. You may hide the dropdown itself, but need to have". I dont' understand it though. Can anyone please help me?
  2. Hi Paul, I am using Universal filter on the shopping page, not on the home page, where the button is located. Yes, when I remove the code, the native tag filter works properly. Are you able to look at the code to see if there is an error?
  3. On my site, I am using buttons to allow people to view all products from a certain brand. The button is linked to a tag: /shop?tag=petzl The problem is the button is showing results that dont include "petzl". I have verified that the other products do not include the "petzl" tag. The buttons are on the home page of extremegear.org Any thoughts? Thanks
  4. I'm using the purchased universal filter on my product pages of my website and it works great. I want to add just the search bar to the home page in the header. Is that possible? The products that I want it to search for are on the shop page ExtremeGear.org/shop Attached is a mock of of how I want it to look. Thanks, John
  5. I've had a few customs ask if they can create lists or tag their favorite products for later, or save their carts. Is it possible to give them this option? my website is extremegear.org/shop Thanks, John
  6. Hi everyone, My store sells rock climbing gear https://www.extremegear.org/shop . At the recommendation of this forum, I installed the universal filter plugin, which was surprisingly easy. Thanks! I am having a hard time following the instructions from their website, so please bare with me. Currently, the "tags" dropdown displays every tag that I have ever created, as it is supposed to. 1) Is there a way to exclude some of the tags from the drop down? 2) Is there a way to filter the tags based off of the category? Or better yet, create a custom list of tags for each category/subcategory? Such as when someone clicks on the dynamic rope category, only tags that are related to that category are displayed, or say just "rope diameters" are displayed. Thanks, John
  7. Site URL: https://www.extremegear.org/shop Hi Everyone, I am not sure how to best describe what I want to change on my website, so please bare with me. When I am on the top of this page https://www.extremegear.org/shop the left hand categories section is visible up to the "Hammers" category. When I scroll down a little, I can see more products and categories that are below "Hammers". The second photo shows I can see up to "Ice Axes". But when I scroll a little more, one the "shop for gear" (blue circle) header is gone, the categories no longer scroll down until I scroll through all of my 600+ products. This happens on all of my pages. Can I make the "category" area scroll independent of the products? Thanks for any suggestions. John
  8. Site URL: https://www.extremegear.org/shop Hi Everyone, On my store page, categories are located on the top left of the page. When I scroll down the categories disappear. Is it possible to keep them so they are always visible? After clicking on a product, the categories don't display at all either. Thanks for your help! John
  9. Site URL: https://www.caveexploration.org/gear/12-htp-static-rope-sterling Hi, On my product pages, I would like the price to display next to each variant in the drop down menu. The only solution I can come up with is naming the variant with the price. See photo. This works OK, but it is slow and creates a lot of work if I want to run a sale, because I have to manually edit every variant to show the sale price. Is there a work around? I searched the forum, but it seems no one has asked this question before. Thanks for your help. John
