I'm having the same issue with writing text. It take several minutes to write a paragraph and then another several minutes for it to transfer from the stupid edit box to the website page. Ridiculous. I am not running any custom code. This seems like a problem with the new block editing which for some unknown reason adds an extra step to enter text instead of allowing me to simply click where I want to edit and then write.
