On the product page, category and subcategory are missing from the breadcrumbs. This is extremely frustrating, as this isn't a true breadcrumb if all it does is bring you back to the main page. Is there any workaround to show the full path with category (and subcategories if applicable) in the breadcrumb on the product detail page?
    It now only shows:
Shop Home > Product Item But it needs to show:
Shop Home > Category > (Subcategory if applicable) > Product Item Any help? Thanks in advance!

Hi there @Parker_SQSP, thanks for the update! Are there plans to include functionality with the Asset Library where it will show you which photos ARE and AREN'T being used on your site?

I built my site a couple of years ago and have many duplicates of photos... I wish I could just use one everywhere... currently, if I want to delete the extras, I have no idea which photo I'm actually using (since they're all identical) and usually end up deleting the one I'm using so end up having to re-upload anyway.

Would be a super useful feature add-on!

Hi @kindandbrave. That's a great question! While I don't have additional information to share, I'm happy to submit that as a feature request on my end. I think that'd be a wonderful and useful improvement to the Asset Library.
    Thanks so much for sharing!

Y'all! @paul2009has SOLVED this issue. Honestly I'm not sure how he did it, because I've spoken to other SS experts on the matter and they had no idea/told me it wasn't possible to get breadcrumbs.
BUT he did it! He created a plugin that's super affordable here: https://sf.digital/breadcrumbs-extension
It's so so so worth it! The instructions they provide after purchase are easy to follow and the breadcrumbs work perfectly on desktop. For now they are hidden on mobile, because of the size of the screen—but honestly desktop is where it was necessary.
Thank you thank you thank you, Paul!

Hi there everyone! Who's excited!? Squarespace made it possible to display captions on gallery pages! Woohoo!
Wondering if anyone knows how to change the styling of gallery captions. Specifically the font and font size, but would also love to know how to change positioning, etc. Thank you in advance!

Sure thing - I'm trying to make the piece titles clickable. "Brain Storms" etc. because I have separate pages devoted to each of them. Basically what I like most about the menu block are those links at the top that are meant to be for different menus, so if there's a different way to do that without using menu blocks I'd be fine with that.

The following is overkill if you just want to round images on one type of element of your SS site. But for folks that may follow on and want to do more than one element, check out my post.

    Have you tried something like:
    .blog-masonry .image-wrapper { border-radius: 11px; }

I guess it's possible that if someone hasn't updated their device in a long time, this could be a problem, but yeah... this particular emoji is not a new introduction so I'm not sure what's going on.
If you're saying that the test email comes through with it looking OK and that the final one doesn't on the same device, then it's possible something's happening on Squarespace's end to break the Unicode. Or that certain providers are blocking certain things.
Re: spam - you may want to reconsider using emojis altogether. It's interesting how things come full circle and there are many who now automatically think spam when there are any emojis in the title because people have adapted to it being a marketer trick (I definitely fall in this camp - if I see an email with an emoji in the title, I automatically delete it without opening). I've also read that some email providers are starting to look for emojis as an indicator of spam, too.
Here's an article by constant contact, for instance that advises to only use a single emoji if you're going to use one so as to not trigger spam filters: https://knowledgebase.constantcontact.com/articles/KnowledgeBase/17990-using-emoji-in-an-email-subject-line?lang=en_US

It's because you're using Apple. Many mac/iOS emojis aren't compatible with other platforms, so you'll want to make sure that you're using an emoji that all operating systems recognize. I don't think many Apple users realize this because I see emails constantly, even from big brands that have just a series of question marks 😉
You can use a site like https://emojipedia.org/ to verify how emojis will look on various platforms.

kindandbrave reacted to KraftigCNC in Remove pagination on product page
I enabled blogging on my website recently. For some reason this created pagination on my product pages. I used the following code injection to hide it on my product pages only.

    <style> .item-pagination-link{ display:none; } </style>
I'm not sure if this is specific to 7.1 or not, but I would say this is a bug. Also the "next" and "previous" links weren't in any apparent logical order. Probably in the order I created the products if I had to make a guess, rather than the order of which the products appear on the page.

Aside from code injection is there another method to turn off pagination to product pages specifically I'm just not aware of?

@creedon Yes! Those are turned on. On my site, you'll be able to see that breadcrumbs are there--it's just that Squarespace doesn't seem to have an option to include categories in the breadcrumb string.
Wondering how one would add it with code.
