  1. It seems that Squarespace cannot do this for photos uploaded to a "gallery" - however it can do this for photos that are uploaded to a normal page!! (There is an option - "design / lightbox"). Surely the whole point of a gallery is that it should showcase photos in an elegant way. This is not very satisfactory - can I raise a ticket to get galleries enhanced to have this option?
  2. Actually, I think I tried that already. Helpdesk just told me it was a fake result. The problem - 1. I don't think it's completely fake - the javascript is very heavy. 2. Even if it's fake, everything on the web is automated. I rely on my site looking good to robots - if the robots think my content sucks, it sucks. No human will get to see my content.
  3. Site URL: https://www.thezimaconfession.com/ This javascript makes my site look slow according to all sorts of SEO site checking tools. What can I do about this? Here is the weight of the 10 heaviest resources over the network, and that are necessary to load the page: s.gr-assets.com/assets/react_client_[...]es-2e2b90fafc.js (640kB) s.gr-assets.com/assets/application-2[...]7fc3127159191.js (278kB) assets.squarespace.com/universal/scr[...]7a0-min.en-US.js (172kB) assets.squarespace.com/universal/scr[...]619-min.en-US.js (170kB) s.gr-assets.com/assets/desktop/libra[...]7e2cf0b06486f.js (155kB) assets.squarespace.com/universal/scr[...]e32-min.en-US.js (149kB) securepubads.g.doubleclick.net/gpt/p[...]2701.js?31063002 (122kB) platform.twitter.com/widgets/widget_[...]ww.goodreads.com (106kB) s.gr-assets.com/assets/goodreads-2de[...]f46071f1f6f6.css (102kB) s.gr-assets.com/assets/react_client_[...]er-1325460bef.js (99kB)
  4. Site URL: https://www.thezimaconfession.com/photos-moscow-ii I have tried to upload large panoramas to my galleries. Instead of remaining full-size (which can happen with normal ratio photos), the photos are automatically resized. They end up being very small and completely unimpressive. So, how can I link through to a full-size photo (or upload the full-size photo so that people can-right-click and open the photo in a new tab).
  5. Squarespace should adjust the sizes automatically. Is there anything I can do to fix these problems? Also, I'm more worried about slowness - as measured by various web tools. They all report that the site is slow. Squarespace support simply said the tools don't measure the speed properly.
  6. Site URL: https://www.thezimaconfession.com/ I uploaded a panorama image here - https://www.thezimaconfession.com/other-photos (Paris from Montmartre). This image is 1378x800 - which is big. I wanted people to be able to right-click and see the image in a new tab - full size. After I uploaded it I tried right-clicking and the photo was much smaller and crappier than I expected. I downloaded it to find out what had happened and it was 750x345 - so it has been physically altered. Why is this? It's especially strange because I recently uploaded some huge images by accident that were not resized (but they were not panoramas). Those photos were approx. 3Mb - whereas this one would be a mere 900Kb. I've attached the image I want to upload to my site.
  7. Site URL: https://www.thezimaconfession.com/ Recently I decided to use https://search.google.com/ to check out my site. The tool says the site doesn't display properly on mobile devices: 1. Clickable elements too close together. 2. Text too small to read This is the page with those problems - https://www.thezimaconfession.com/look-inside Another problem is my site is slow according to tools to check site speed. What can I do to improve these problems?
