hilaryb got a reaction from NCforKatKole in Change Font Case Type when using Custom CSS for uploaded Fonts
Site URL: http://rust-coconut-kf7x.squarespace.com/what-is-nutritional-therapy
Hello - I recently used this guide to help me use specially purchased fonts for my site.
It partially worked, but I have two questions for the pieces I can't figure out:
1) The Headings seem to be in all CAPS by default. How do I correct this (It doesn't look right with the font I'm using)? I'd like it to be as typed, meaning there would be some words starting with capitals, but the rest would be lowercase.
2) The coding didn't work for the body text. I replaced 'H1' with 'P1' (and P2, P3, etc.) respectively, double-checked the font title was spelled correctly, etc., but I cannot get it to appear as the font in the body. Any help?

hilaryb got a reaction from tuanphan in Help with Nav Links Displaying Incorrectly
Nevermind!
I finally found more code in the Code Injection section that was causing the issue. I deleted the code, and all good now!

hilaryb got a reaction from genevieve-dbc in Site fonts recently changed, messed up text on one page - PLEASE HELP
This worked! I had previously searched it out, thinking that was the problem, but could never find it (once upon a time, I had to duplicate this page).
Great catch!

hilaryb got a reaction from tuanphan in Navigation Links on BOTH SIDES of Logo
Hi Lindsey,
It turned out those instructions were for a different template, and I was able to get a different method/code altogether. So I am not sure how to do it after adding the links to the footer.
The code I was given instead, I pasted below - I suppose you could try it! (But as you can see, it messes with the color, so I'm still trying to figure that out.
/**NAV-LINKS ON BOTH SIDES OF LOGO**/
.header-actions .header-nav-item {
padding-right:1.1vw !important;
}
.header-nav-list {
display:-webkit-box;
display:-ms-flexbox;
display:flex;
-webkit-box-pack:end !important;
-ms-flex-pack:end !important;
justify-content:flex-end !important;
.header-nav-item {
padding-right:1.1vw !important;
}
}
.header-actions--right {
display:-webkit-box;
display:-ms-flexbox;
display:flex;
-webkit-box-pack:justify;
-ms-flex-pack:justify;
justify-content:space-between;
}
.header-nav-list .header-nav-item {
padding-right: 1vw !important;
}
.header-actions .header-nav-item {
padding-right: 1vw !important;
}

Apparently the Squarespace app still has the option to set the default theme. Give that a go and let us know if that does the trick.
