  1. As much as I love Squarespace, the community, and the web designers I've come to learn from in building my website on the platform, I unfortunately need to leave Squarespace since I have a high-volume digital products shop, thus I need more advanced e-commerce features that Squarespace currently does not have. I have already begun the process of moving away from Squarespace, coding a new website on a different platform, having to move products manually since they are digital as well as blogs, and other information. However, I don't plan on moving absolutely everything over before I launch the new website. My question is, once I leave Squarespace, will I still be able to log back in and reference the old website to get information from. Simply exporting all the information from the old website to the new website, unfortunately, doesn't work because again, I am a digital products shop which Squarespace doesn't offer great support for. What else should I know in the process of leaving Squarespace in regards to what it will look like on the backend for me after transferring my domain?
  2. Perfect solution! Thank you for the help.
  3. Site URL: https://kdigitalstudio.com Running into the issue where I can scroll horizontally to a huge blank space... how can I fix this? Not sure what the root of the problem is or what settings I need to fix and/or CSS I need to add/target?
  4. Figured out -- posting what I did for anyone else who may need help with this in the future. //moving over the dropdown indicator // .sqs-block-accordion .accordion-icon-container { margin-right: 20px; } //moving over the accordion title// .sqs-block-accordion .accordion-item__title { margin-left: 20px; }
  5. Much love -- thank you! Totally didn't think to call back to .sqs-col-4
  6. Site URL: https://www.kdigitalstudio.com/how-to-create-digital-products So I've managed to style the accordion blocks like how I envisioned on my course page, but it's still not quite perfect. I would like it if there are more padding between the text and the rounded rectangle/rectangle of each individual dropdown. Likewise, I'd like more padding between the edge of rounded rectangle and the down arrow. How can I achieve this with CSS? Here's the code I have so far: .sqs-block-accordion .accordion-item__title-wrapper {background: #ffffff; margin: 15px; padding: 0px; border: 1px solid black; border-radius: 25px; flex: 1;} .sqs-block-accordion .accordion-item__description { margin-left: 35px }
  7. Site URL: https://www.kdigitalstudio.com/how-to-create-digital-products Hey all. I took a course on creating these pricing grids using flex boxes, but I'm struggling to create rounded corners for these flex boxes (the course doesn't cover this). How I can target the flex boxes in order to create rounded/curved edges?
  8. Site URL: https://www.kdigitalstudio.com/how-to-create-digital-products Trying to get the arrow image to float between the index sections above and below it. I've tried several methods of just targeting the z-axis of the image block to this tutorial: https://schwartz-edmisten.com/blog/floating-banner-over-two-index-sections-in-squarespace Neither have worked for me. Any suggestions?
  9. Site URL: https://kdigitalstudio.com/blog I've tried extending the horizontal line by targeting it in CSS and in a code block. I can only get the line to extend fully to the right. I would like the line to fully extend the span of the page.
  10. Site URL: https://kdigitalstudio.com Hey there! I'm trying to make/keep my Instagram block full-width but the section below with all of the explore links with some padding. My instagram block and those links are in Footer-Middle on Brine 7.0. How can I make one element full-width (instagram) and then add padding to the section with all of the links. Here's the code I have for making everything full-width but need assistance in making sure everything is full-width except the explore links. Thanks in advance for help! // MAKING FOOTER FULL-WIDTH // .Footer-inner { padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; max-width: 100% !important; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; }
  11. Site URL: https://llama-azalea-b73a.squarespace.com/?password=demo I'm using a Squarespace 7.0 Brine template, which does not offer the ability to change the background color of Header:Top. I'm only able to change the color of the Main section, which I don't want. How can I change the just the primary navigation bar to display the color I want? I know it involves CSS, but other codes I've tried on the forum does not work.
  12. I exclusively sell digital products on Squarespace. I've invested a lot of time and money into my website but would love to further customize my customer accounts. Currently, customer accounts for digital products/orders only allow the customers to save payment/billing information. Are there plug-ins or coding I can do to allow customers to log into their accounts and also re-download their digital products (albeit with limits that I can impose)? Additionally, are there plug-ins where I can have customers "favorite" or "heart" digital products, essentially "saving" those products for later? All major retail websites I know offer both of those features but I know these are not offered natively with Squarespace.
  13. How can I block a specific IP address with Squarespace 7.0? I'm assuming it requires custom code. I'm only finding guides to ban IP addresses for Squarespace 5. The previous three websites I've used prior to Squarespace had the option (though I never needed it then). Now I am in a situation where I need to block an IP address and am running into trouble. I'm on the highest, most advanced plan for Squarespace so I have access to all options/settings.
  14. Site URL: http://kdigitalstudio.com Hey! I have images blocks on my website to represent resources about what I use for my business. They appear in the backend of the site when I am editing as expected, but do not appear on the live version of the site. This is the only page where I am encountering the issue and can't figure out what's going wrong. It appears the images on the page that has this issue is random. What should I do?
